A little bit about us

Hi families!
My husband, Finn Andersen, and I are looking for another family in the Greenwood/Crown Hill/Greenlake/Ballard/Fremont area to nanny share with beginning ideally mid February. Our daughter will be 3 months old at that time, and we are looking for 40 hours of coverage per week. We are willing to either split homes or host full time.
A little about us:
-Eloise is our second child, and her hobbies include giggling, eating, and crying to get out of tummy time. She is great at all three.
-Her sister is turning 2 in early 2025, and is an existing nanny share that we do not want to break her from
-Finn and I both work in tech sales - both from home
-Our hobbies have not changed much since having our girls: we love an early dinner in Ballard, walking to nearby breweries, and spending time with our awesome families who live in the area.
Hopefully a little about your family:
-You are a safety continuous family: everyone in the house is up to date on their vaccines
-You are looking for a nanny to start somewhere between February and March
-Your child is within a month or two of our child

A little bit about us

Hi!

We are looking for a nanny to care for our two boys, ages 5 and 2. We need care either 24 or 40 hours (3 or 5 days) per week. We are looking for a nanny who can take our boys outdoors and to various activities like the library and music classes, take our oldest to and from preschool and do meal prep and very light housekeeping.

Mom and Dad both have a hybrid work schedule and one or both are usually in the house to help with emergencies, meal prep and other situations as work allows. We also have a small dog who mostly stays out of the way during the day.

We offer sick leave, paid time off, compensation for mileage incurred transporting children and reimbursement of other approved expenses.

Thank you for taking the time—we look forward to hearing from you!

A little bit about us

Hello,

We are expecting our first baby in Sep. 2024! We are not finding out the gender, and keeping it a surprise. This is our first child, and we are extremely excited. I work as an Occupational Therapist, and my husband works in marketing/advertising. We are planning ahead for childcare, and hoping to find a nanny to start in February/March 2025 when we both go back to work for 25-34 hrs a week. Baby will be around 6 months old upon the start date. Our ideal nanny will have their own vehicle and be able to watch baby at our home, but also bring them to the park or play groups out into the community. Other duties will include light house keeping (dishes, cooking, laundry, and vacuuming), and taking our dog out for potty breaks. We have a small yard for our 5 yr old Border Collie mix who loves people, going on walks, playing fetch, swimming and cuddling. Looking forward to connecting and having you join and support our growing family!

However, in general, a nanny is responsible for making sure the children's needs are met, including things like ensuring they have opportunities to play and be active. The primary difference being the number of hours you spend at your nanny job every week. For full-time nannies, there are options for live in nanny positions and live-out positions in Seattle. Live-out positions are more common, but each family has their own set of needs that require different types of care, and live in nanny positions can be exactly what some families want. If you're looking to explore live in nanny positions , it's even more important to create a shared set of expectations around hours, responsibilities, and what is expected of you when you're not on the clock.
