Live out Nanny: Summer 2007- Summer 2009. When I first started with this family they had a 4-year-old girl. Then they added a sweet baby boy to their family. I cared for both children while their parents were at work. I loved caring for these children and quickly loved this family like they were my own! As their nanny I was responsible for getting Emma ready for school, taking her to school, picking her up, and getting her to other activities. While Emma was at school I cared for baby Grant and would occasionally do things around the house like run the dish washer, vacuum, or cook dinner if the mom had to work late. (However, I was not required to do those things) In the summers I had both of the kids all day. Emma and I enjoyed playing dress up, doing hair, baking, playing the piano, swimming, riding bikes, reading, playing school, working on cheerleading, tumbling, and more. Grant enjoyed watching Emma play, looking at books, learning colors and animals, playing ball, laughing at everything his big sister did and coming along on our adventures. I was also responsible for activities, meals and their overall well-being! I stopped nannying for them when my husband and I moved to Marietta, GA so he could attend Chiropractic College. Babysitting: I have been babysitting since I was 15 years old. I have 3 nieces and 4 nephews from ages 1 month to 12 years old and I am very close with all of them. So I have had a lot of experience babysitting over the years. Coach: Summer 2007- present. I currently coach. As a coach I have held a CPR and First Aid Certificate. However, they are both currently expired but I will be renewing them for the upcoming season. I will renew them both between late July and early August. Instructor: I have taught to kids ages 2-18 and I love working with all ages! County: Last year I worked and loved it! If I do not find a nannying job I will be back next year when my schedule allows it. I am currently finishing my Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and will graduate in December. I sat down with my adviser and planned out my last two quarters and my classes are going to be Monday-Thursday 5:30-7:50 p.m. So my school schedule would not conflict with any day time nannying.

From the time I was a teenager, people have noticed that I have a natural ability to relate to and communicate with children. I accept children for who they are, and help them to find and develop their own talents and skills, so that they can grow into happy, productive, compassionate adults. As a nanny, I have experience with a wide age range (newborn to ten), and am comfortable changing diapers, calming tantrums, and helping with homework. In fact, I often find myself doing all three simultaneously, while cooking dinner and folding laundry. The ability to multitask is only one of the skills I bring to a family. I love music, singing, and reading. I get great pleasure from exposing children to the worlds they can find between the covers of a book, and I read to my charges early and often. In addition, I am a terrific cook, naturally organized, and computer savvy. I am Executive Director of Metro Atlanta Nannies, and we coordinate weekly playgroups, monthly fieldtrips, and Holiday parties for the children we care for. This group allows my charges the chance to socialize with children of various ages.

I have a strong passion for children since I was a little girl. I began first baby-sitting for my family relatives, neighbors, and parent’s co-workers at a young age. I come from a family of eight. My parents have six kids total, I am the third child (in middle); I basically raised my three younger siblings. In high school I did volunteer work at day care center on campus. I was enrolled at a boarding school in Gainesville, GA which was on a college campus the day care was the university. On weekends I would baby-sit while volunteering on weekday at the day care. During college I did nanny jobs frequently because it went with my school schedule. I was in nursing school to become a neo-natal nurse but I have now switched over to an occupational therapy specializing in pediatrics. I also volunteer at after school programs to get an experience with kids with disabilities. I have been around children for more than half my life, and would love to meet and take care of your children. I am CPR, First Aid, and Emergency First Response trained and certified. I am an artist so I enjoy preparing projects for your child (age appropriate), singing songs, and learning in a cozy and comfortable environment. I also love and enjoying helping children out with their homework and etc.

I've been taking care of children since I was 11, start with my little brother untill now that I'm a mother of 2 beautiful girls who are 9 & 4 years old. This continued with my nieces & nephews because I love to be around the kids, my next experience was in California, I was babysitting 2 brothers who were 2 & 6 years old, such a joy & I had so much fun with them. This last 2 years untill they moved to another city. After that, I was baby sitting for another family who had twins who were 3 months old along with my elder child who were 18 month old by that time. My daughter & these twins got so along together that we still have contact with them & twins send me their Christmas pictures every Christmas. This also last for a year untill I decided to attend to college. We moved to Georgia 5 years ago & I gave bith to my second child here in GA. I love to be around my children as well & I want to have job that I have access to my children as well. After giving birth to my 2nd child & being home with her, I started working in Montessori school as a teacher assistant for 2 years. My 2nd child also attend to the same school. Being next to children is such a joy for me.

I have babysat for many years with neighbor's children, family members, and friends of family's children. Also, I have volunteered at a foster home/farm with a youth group and my main job was to watch the children. Currently I work at a miniature golf facility and my duties include hosting birthday parties which can have ten to thirty children ages two to teenagers. I have to supervise all these children, keep them entertained while on the golf course, and maintain a clean facility after their party is over.
