A little bit about me

Hello! I’m shauna! I’m a friendly, outgoing 27 year old with extensive experience with kids. I’ve only had one full time nanny job which I listed, but I’ve had multiple tutoring jobs and I am still a tutor to kids of different ages throughout Malibu. I graduated with my bachelors in business from Pepperdine University in 2016. When I worked as a Nanny in College, I worked 50 hours a week with 4 kids. One 1yo baby girl, a 4yo girl, a 5yo boy who was paraplegic and had special needs, and a 9yo girl. I would not only watch them, but drive them to school and activities, play games outside with them, read books and sing/dance, do arts and craft activities, bathe them, cook/clean the house and etc. I am only fluent in English although I do know some conversational French from my years at Pepperdine. The best part is....I’M ALSO A MOMMY! I have a 2yo son and I think that’s the best experience you could have for a nanny position (Yes I was pregnant in College)! I would love a position with a family that is comfortable with me bringing my son as well (but not adamant on it). Summer starts in June and then I won’t be tutoring all summer, so I will have open availability. I look forward to meeting you!

A little bit about me

Hello, my name is Julia and this May 2018 I will be graduating from The University of Memphis with a degree in Teaching all Learners k-5 with a special education licensure (k-12). I have previous experience living and working overseas as an au pair in Ireland and Turkey and have gained an insight to the cross-cultural adjustment. While working as an Au pair in Turkey, I also assisted the teachers at a Montessori preschool. As an au pair in Ireland, I minded 4 children between grades 1st through 5th grade. I was able to assist them with homework and school projects during my time there. My background in the arts also allows me to acknowledge the diversity of individual students.
