My Experience: I was working as a full time live out nanny for 2 boys ages 4 and 8 and most recently as a full time live out nanny for two little girls now age 3 and 5 for the past three years. Have been a Red Cross certified babysitter since 2002. Volenteered to work as a temp nanny at my parish watching the babies and toddlers while church events and fundraisers took place. I worked as a camp counselor for a children’s camp in a small rural town in Costa Rica during a service trip in 2006. I worked as an assistant director of a Bible study camp for 2 consecutive summers working with children 3 to 12. I have volunteered working for a Pediatric Outpatient Clinic in New Haven, working with children with special needs and chemotherapy treatments. 2 years working in an after school religious education program as a teacher for grades 4 and 5 I worked as a full time live in nanny and full time housekeeper in Virginia for 7 months from june 09 - january 10 I have worked as a tutor in Math and English for School age children for 3 years of High school and as a language and spelling development tutor for a child just starting kindergarten this past spring. I'm in the process of learning Italian and can speak nearly Fluent Spanish. I have worked with infants, toddlers, school age children, teenagers, multiples, and special needs children and I love what I do. I was nicknamed the "Junior Mom" by many of the people I worked for and in my very child based neighborhood because I loved spending all my time with the kids I babysat for and the children were always super best behaved around me in their parents’ presence. I love creating activities from arts and crafts to science projects to cooking projects, and from making up games to getting the kids involved in cleaning their rooms or getting ready for bed. I've even managed to get children who've refused to eat their green vegetables to eat them using a fun game. I have also found out ways to figuring out games or field trips to complement what they're learning in school at the time. I always go above and beyond in what I do, and who I work for. I'm incredibly flexible and don't mind relocating, traveling or working odd hours.

Heather was wonderful with our 2 month old! She followed our sleep schedule, kept the baby happy all day and even offered to fold the laundry, clean bottles, etc. As a new mom, it was very helpful to have someone here who I felt comfortable with, and with Heather, that happened immediately. We will definitely be seeing her again - Brittany
