I am a college student at NIU and my goal is to have my own daycare center one day! I have been babysitting since I was younger and I've worked with my mom at her home daycare! I have studied child development since high school and I am pursuing a degree in it currently! I love interacting with children and teaching them new things as well as learning from them!

I have over 25 years of childcare experience. Starting as a teen I loved to babysit and would actively seek out those jobs with family and friends. In my twenties I nannied for one family for little over two years taking care of Abby from the time she was a few weeks old until she was past 2 years old. Its 14 years later and I still keep in touch with her family. I also have 3 school age children of my own. My children are 10, 12, 14 years old and all great kids...happy, thoughtful, kind, inquisitive, children that excel at school and are well grounded.

I took Child Development in High School. We had 17 cute volunteers from ages 3-7. We played cognitive development games, motor skill development games, etc. Other than that. When I lived in Joliet Illinois, I use to watch the younger kids for their families. I was maybe 14 or 15 and they where ages 5-11. I wasn't paid although after doing it enough times the parents did do something nice for me. Ice cream is it's own reward. <3

Childcare is my chosen profession, and I enjoy it so much. I babysat children in the neighborhoods I lived in from 16 years old on. I have references for 3 families I became particularly close with once I became a nanny. I worked for these families for 2+ years. I held the top position at a church nursery in San Francisco for 6 years, coordinating 5 childcare assistants who worked for me, keeping a daily log for the church, and was considered the baby whisperer for the infants. It was a 0-3 program. I worked a year at a Montessori school as a primary school assistant, and ended up co-teaching most of the year with another parent when the lead teacher had pregnancy complications. I worked at a school here in Warrenville as a kindergarten assistant. The star on my resume is the in-home daycare I founded for a year. This rounded out my skills of not only childcare, but the professional and business side of things, which enabled me to grow into a better childcare provider exponentially. The age range was 12 mo - 2.5 yr. I had an assistant for the latter half of the year, as word spread of what a wonderful childcare experience my daycare was. I had parents on a wait-list. When San Francisco proved too expensive, I decided to move back to the Midwest, where I have several dear friends and lots of family. It's one of the best decisions I've ever made, and I'm thrilled to begin a relationship with a new family to care for.

Nicole I.

Nicole was by far one of the best nannies I have had. She was able to connect with my daughter and instead of just being her nanny, she became her friend. My daughter loved spending time with Nicole, as she always came up with the best games and crafts. You won’t regret hiring this responsible and punctual young woman. - Lidiya

Geselle G.

Geselle is great with kids. We met her at East Leydens pre school program, she was a teacher/student in Leyden. Also worked in an after school program for kids at a park district. My 3 year old loves her and says shes her best friend! Shes always there when we need her. Shes the Nanny everyone needs. 10/10 - Graciano

Nicolette A.

I totally recommend Nicolette, she is very attentive, creative and loving, we still see her quite often and super happy to have her as part of our children’s childhood. - Paz
