A little bit about me…

Hi, my name is Jada and I’m currently a senior at PHS. I’ve been working with kids since I was 14 and I love it, I started by watching my my younger brother and then began babysitting kids from my neighborhood. I’ve worked mostly with toddlers, but I love kids of all ages. If it’s nice outside, I like to take the kids outside, but if not then I like to do small activities in the house. In my free time, I love cooking and running.

A little bit about me…

I have been around children for almost my entire life. I am the eldest of 3 children and grew up in a family where both my parents worked full time jobs. Much of the responsibilities in the house were and have been placed on me. I have always been watching my siblings when my parents were working or not around. Especially when I received my license I found myself driving my siblings every which way in order to get them to their activities. Not only this, but I have been babysitting since age 12. Luckily I have been able to live on a street that is full of kids, so finding a babysitting job came easy. I also love being around kids since I have high energy. At age 13 I was able to go to a local camp and receive my red cross certified Baby Sitting and CPR certificate. I have babysit multiple kids at the same time all varying in age. The summers of 2012 and 2013 consisted of small babysitting jobs and helping my family. My mom became ill during these months so my help become more necessary in my household. More recently (the fall of my senior year in high school so 2013) I have not been babysitting older kids and helping them finish their homework and bringing them to extracurricular activities.
