Hey I’m Anna Marie,
I seriously love hanging out with children. They are so full of amazing energy and such a joy to be around. I am passionate about children because you can learn a lot from them, like how to enjoy the simple things in life. I have been working with children for the past 5 years in the position of babysitters and nanny and I have grow to see how amazing being a nanny and a provider for children can be. I live in Drexel hill and am very flexible when it comes to schedule. Love arts and crafts and very easy going but stern when I have to be.

In the last 10+ years I have been exposed to many child are situations which makes me a very diverse and well experience person! Started with a Nanny working for a family for 5 years where there was only 1 baby and by the time I left there was 4. Then I was exposed to some overnight experience with twins for their first 6 months and through school I was a house manager where I administrated about 15 people on a daily basis while being a personal cook and responsible for the kids activities such as homework, driving, feeding... Etc! About myself; I'm a very reliable, independent mature person! Also, Very organized with great skills for fast learning and training! Making the work an pleasant environment! In my free time I enjoy spending time with friends and/or discovering new places like restaurants or going for a road trip! If you are interested in learning more about me please do not hesitate to contact me and I will be happy to provide more details and answer the questions you may have!

Nanny and occasional Babysitter for multiple families (can be used as excellent references.) Out of coincidence most of the families have had twins, so I am completely comfortable taking care of a number of children at a time, and there playdates. :) During the 2008-2009 school year, I worked in Malvern, where I was a floater and I worked with all ages from infants, 6 months to after-school children as old as 9 years old. I was an assistant teacher at the school and teaching in all classrooms.

I worked as an Au Pair for two years, The first year I took care of a 2 year old girl and the second year, I took care of a 1 year old and 2 year old girls. Working as an Au Pair with the two families I had to do almost the same kind of job. I had to drive them to school and picked them up; I had to prepare their meals, and do the laundry; I had to take them to the playground and extraclasses. I taught them a lot of things and speak Spanish, too; I played with them, and I loved doing crafts with them. After that, I worked as a nanny with two more families, for almost 6 months. I enjoyed doing things outdoors and indoors. I always tried to do a lot of things according to the season. I had such a great experience with everyone, I really enjoyed spending my time with them. Being an Au Pair was one of the most beautiful and grateful experiences ever.

Currently a nanny for a sweet 9 month old girl, started when baby was 6 months. Baby has an older brother with some special needs with his own part time nanny but he interacts with baby and I as well. Parents planning to start baby in daycare in September so I will be looking for a new baby to care for and love and a wonderful new family. Prior to this nanny position I was nanny for over a year to another sweet baby girl whose mom decided to leave her job to stay home and care for her. We still get together often! Was also a Daycare worker, elementary school teacher, at home mom of three children (now empty nester), occasional babysitter as well as overnight and vacation sitter for 45 years.

I have cared for 2 children (ages 13mo & 2yrs old when I started) for 2 years at their home in Phoenixville. I would make meals and had to pay special attention with food preparation because both of the kids had severe food allergies. I would plan daily activities and performed some bathing if the parents were getting home late. We would walk to a nearby park and play most days of the week. All around we always had good fun days!

Over the years, I have babysat several children with diverse ages. In my early 20's I became a nanny to a young girl with emotional issues. Her mother was trying to earn her doctorate and she needed someone to help her daughter with her homework, cooking, cleaning, and to drive her to appointments (doctors, dance class, etc.). Other than those responsibilities, I became a mentor for her. We had fun times together too by watching movies that she liked, swimming, playing games, going to her dance competitions to support her, etc. It was sad to go, but her mother earned her degree and I was no longer needed for my services. Aside from being a nanny, I have worked as a paraprofessional in a special needs school setting for almost 2 years. I absolutely loved helping children with disablities ranging from cerebral palsy to down syndrome and autism. It was a great experience making a difference in their lives and helping them learn.
