Admittedly, we have a difficult 1-year old who needs more attention than most childcare can provide. It would be 40- hrs a week M-F. We’d like to share with one other family with 1-2 children. No other expectations besides childcare and some knowledge around development milestones for help reaching appropriate benchmarks.

The Ruban Family - Hiring in Centennial

The Ruban Family

Centennial, CO

A little bit about us…

We just moved to Centennial, CO, and are in need of full-time care. During the school year, two of three kids are at school and the baby is at home, and then all kids are at home in the summer (excluding their summer camps).

Until the summer, our nanny will have our new baby, 4 months old, full-time, and then will manage drop offs / pickups for our older kids in full-time kindergarten and preschool (~8-3). Our family includes a 5-year-old boy in kindergarten, who is talkative and fun, and a sweet and sassy 3-year-old girl in preschool. Mom works from home, Dad works mostly from a local office with some international travel for ~2 weeks at a time.

Benefits include paid time off, guaranteed 40 hours, plus occasional overtime as-needed, paid holidays, and sick days. We're working out the exact schedule we need, but currently imagining perhaps 7:30 - 4:00 Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, 8-4 Wednesday, and a shorter day on Friday, 8-2:30. Currently we are NOT looking for moms wanting to bring their own babies/kids.

We are looking for a nanny with experience in positive reinforcement and excitement to keep learning about early childhood education and implementing the latest tools with our kids. Our kids are energetic, easy to get along with, and not shy. As parents, we care a lot about punctuality, responsibility, and fit into our family. Ideally we want a candidate who's excited to remain with our family for many years, and eager to grow into different roles as our kids grow up and need different things.

Duties include typical childcare tasks, kid laundry, and light house management (adding to grocery lists, managing seasonal kid clothes, etc.). We have a weekly house cleaning service, so our nanny just helps us maintain a tidy house, no major cleaning expected.

A little bit about us…

I have three children: a newborn, a 2.5 year old, and a 4 year old. We have two small dogs. I am looking for a full time nanny to build a partnership and long lasting relationship with. I need assistance weekdays and 1-2 Saturdays per month. My daughter is in pre school currently and my son will be attending pre school in the fall. I need help with pick up/drop off. My daughter has high needs and I would like someone who is willing to be trained on caring for a high needs child or someone who has experience with special needs children. I am looking for someone who is patient, kind and compassionate, someone who is organized and structured, likes routine, but also can have fun with the children. I am looking for someone who is willing to do light house keeping- mostly cleaning up after the children and assisting with meals. Must have a car for pick up/drop off and helping drive for activities. I am looking for someone who has experience with multiple children and infants. My children love painting, crafts, dancing and playing “hot lava”. We look forward to meeting you! Please let me know if you are interested.
