A little bit about us
Our son loves being outside, sports (especially golf and basketball), looking for planes in the sky, playing in the kitchen, dancing, and splashing in water. He understands and speaks (at a 2 year old level) English and Portuguese.
My work schedule includes a mix of working from home and commuting to the office, so it is important that the nanny could start early (~6:30a) a couple days a week. It is also helpful if the nanny can work extra hours from time to time if we need to stay late at work or work on a weekend.
We’re looking for someone who is gentle, patient, and truly enjoys spending time with young children. It’s important to us that our nanny shares our values around kindness, diversity, and inclusion, and will help teach our son these things.
It is also helpful if the nanny is willing to take our son to activities, such as parks, libraries, gymnastics, etc. Therefore, the nanny must be comfortable safely driving with our son in the car (we will provide a car seat).
We have had a wonderful nanny for the past 1.5 years but she is moving soon, which is why we are looking for a new nanny. The start date is somewhat flexible, starting in October or September, but we would like to schedule a few trial days over the summer to ensure it’s a great fit for everyone and to help with the transition between nannies.
Hourly rate and schedule can be somewhat flexible.
