A little bit about me
I’ve been a nanny/babysitter and preschool teacher for 10 years..I’m excited to work more independently
Connecting with kids on their level is important to me. That’s why I am a big advocate for including physical games, playing outside, crafts, and more.
I love the outdoors, so I make time every day (when the weather cooperates) to get outside be active and explore nature.Crafts are one of my favorite things, and I love finding ways to express creativity with kids. Whether it’s glitter, macaroni art, or craft paper, I make sure there is always a new project to work on.
I’ve worked with families who have potty training concerns /families with behavioral needs/children with special needs/etc. I’m reliable and hard working, i can make snacks or meal prep for the child/children if needed. Looking forward to connecting with you all.

A little bit about me
I graduated from Green Level High School and have spent years working with children in various roles. At the YMCA, I worked at Camp Grace, Camp Outer Limits, and Sports Camp, gaining experience with kids of all ages and abilities. I also worked before school at Highcroft Elementary and served as the Site Coordinator at Hortons Creek Elementary. I was a camp counselor for three years before transitioning to a student manager position at the Oval at NC State.
I am a kind, patient, and responsible person who genuinely enjoys helping children grow, learn, and develop confidence. Being a positive role model in a child’s life is something I value deeply.
I would love the opportunity to bring my enthusiasm, experience, and care to your family as a nanny!

I am Carmen; a 34 yo mom with two kids 4 and 9.
