A little bit about us
Basic duties would essentially be to care for our 3 year old in our home and then Pick up our 3 older kids (Ages 6, 7, 10) from the bus stop (will require driving as the bus stop is down the road and across a busy intersection of blue angel). Light housekeeping at your discretion (not necessarily an expectation but would be a plus) and ensuring kids are safe, fed and well cared for until either me or my husband return home(helping with homework also a huge plus).
We do have a dog, cat and a ferret. Dog has free rein of the home, cat does as well but is old and mostly sleeps, ferret will be caged and locked in the office. You won't have to care for the animals other than letting the dog outside as needed to potty. My daughter who you will primarily be caring for is newly potty trained (we are still working on it) and she has a slight speech delay, so communication with her can be difficult, but she is getting better everyday. She is not on a sleep schedule at all, and typically wakes up between 10-11 am and only naps on occasion, so in the morning you would some have free time.
We would also be okay if you need to bring your own child with you, as long as the same level of care is provided (would need to sign a waiver that we are not to be held responsible if something were to happen to your child while in our home). Please let us know if you would be a good fit.
