A little bit about us
Hours; 40-50 per week
Mon-Thurs: 9 hrs (split day)
Fri: 6am-8am + (flex) (guaranteed evenings off)
Sat: As Needed (guaranteed every other off)
Sun: 6:30pm-8:30pm (as needed, particularly only when traveling)
Additional compensation for weeks over 40 hrs.
Example of daily schedule on school days;
6am-7am Get kids ready for school (make breakfast, clean up, facilitate punctuality)
7am-8:30am round trip commute to school
2:15pm-8:30pm pickup from school, make dinner, vacuum, clean up kitchen, homework help, etc
*On days mom drives (frequently) errands and household duties will take place of commute hours.
Household duties include;
-Cooking (for the kids a must, for the family, bonus!)
-Laundry, ironing, folding
-Organizing Closets
-Packing/Unpacking
-Cleaning bathrooms
-Vacuuming & mopping
-Cleaning kitchen
-Dusting
-Identifying what needs to be done and doing it without being told
-Errands
Flexibility with schedule and daily tasks is paramount as the family travels frequently and has changing schedules, however the children’s schedules stay the same. The kids are with their father every other weekend (return Sun 6:30pm) and every Friday after school until Saturday midday.
As important as the childcare duties are, as is caring for the family dog (Australian Shepard) while the family is away. This role requires a “must love dog’s” attitude and full responsibility to care for her on your off hours/days.
Occasional date nights require live-in to be responsible for the children during sleep/off hours in case of emergency.
