I have been looking after kids for a long time. On and off not always full time. I love kids. They are pretty rewarding. I usually nanny for little ones who can't speak or very little. The reason for this is because I can be part of their lives when they learn about shapes, numbers, words and generally about the world:) 1-3 year olds are my category but of course I don't have a back off on any other age. My experience is very vary. I start the day with the kid and do breakfast, lunch, getting the kid dressed and ready for the day. Then take the kid to different activities during the day. Then during the evening I can make dinner, play, bathtime and then putting him to sleep. So I have the complete experience for a full day and how things are done. I have my own car and I do drive them. Childseat can be put in my car. I am only looking for a part time position from Mo-Fr from 8.30-2.30pm in Cleawater, FL. I am also available for occasional babysittings on Sat evenings from 7pm. I am usually very gentle and caring with the child and I do let them exercise their own self-determinism. In this way they learn how they can do it on their own without the interference from an adult. I do believe this is important in a child's life. I do all kinds of games with them, singing, talking, going to music class. I do swim too and can teach the kid to swim if needed.

I've been a nanny for 5 families with 1-5 children in each ranging from infant to teenagers. I managed their schedules and activities, drove them around, tutored them with their studies, cooked, organized, etc. I loved it and they were all very happy too. I moved from L.A. to Clearwater and am looking for a household to care for part time and overnights if needed -- do you work night shift?

I have had experience taking care of children for the last 5 years, with the children's ages ranging from 3-12. Not only have I watched the children but play outside, take them to the park, run errands, light housework, and cook for the children.

Coming from a family of five children, with ages ranging from 35 to 13 years old, I have constantly been surrounded by babies and children my entire life. With four siblings, two nieces, and two nephews I believe I have developed a natural bond with children of all ages. Since high school I have babysat on the weekends, with school and my studies always being my main focus. I have watched families of multiples, families from different countries, families with infants, and families with teenagers. After graduating from college in April, and starting graduate school in August, I would love to find a family whom I connect with and could start a routine that fits both our schedules.
