A little bit about us
We have two fun, energetic children. Our oldest is school-aged and will need transportation from school, so a safe, reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license, and clean driving record are must-haves. Our youngest is 3 and loves dress-up, coloring, crafts, imaginative play, and staying busy. We’d love someone who genuinely enjoys getting down on the floor to play, keeping little minds engaged, and encouraging creativity—not someone who simply supervises.
Our schedule is a little unconventional because I work a rotating schedule. It would look roughly like:
Week One: Monday, Tuesday & Saturday
Week Two: Monday, Thursday & Friday
Approximately [phone number hidden] PM (ish), averaging around 22.5 hours/week.
My husband works in sales, so there may be days he’s home a little earlier and others when he’s kept later. Communication and some flexibility are definitely important to us!
Starting pay is $20/hour, but we’re always open to discussing pay based on experience, as well as weekend differentials, holidays, etc.
Our biggest priority is finding someone dependable, patient, kind, and genuinely interested in building a relationship with our children. We want someone who can become a trusted part of their lives and feel like part of our family.
Light housekeeping related to the kids is appreciated—washing dishes after their meals, tidying toys/activities throughout the day, and occasionally running a load of their laundry if needed. We don’t expect deep cleaning or household chores unrelated to the children.
We also have a cat, so being comfortable around animals is important.
If you’re looking for a family that values communication, appreciates what you do, and wants you to truly feel like part of the team, we’d love to hear from you!
