A little bit about us

We have 5 kids - ages 3, 4, 4, 4, and 5! The oldest will start kindergarten this fall. The other 4 attend a preschool for part of the day, Monday-Thursday.

We need someone who is available from 2-5:30 Monday through Thursday, and possibly additional hours. Let us know if you need more hours than that. There may be other times that we could use your help!

We never leave all 5 kids with one person, so my sister is there or we split the kids into two groups. We also have a personal support worker who helps with one of the girls, who has developmental disabilities. So it’s a team effort!

We are looking for someone who is great at connecting with kids and will join their play rather than just monitoring them. And we need someone who can stay calm and positive while helping the kids learn social skills, including helping them resolve typical sibling conflicts (like two kids wanting the same toy).

We need someone who is very reliable and communicates well.

Light housekeeping and occasional meal prep would be included.

Reach out if you’d like to learn more about our family or schedule a time to meet with us!

Interviewing for a Housekeeper Nanny Position in Junction City, OR

After talking to a few employers, you’ll be invited for a housekeeping nanny job interview. Here are a few housekeeping nanny interview questions to prepare for:

  • What qualities do you have that make you a good housekeeping nanny?
  • What do you enjoy about looking after a home?
  • How many years of experience do you have with house cleaning?

In a housekeeping nanny job interview, you’ll have the opportunity to provide your nanny references and ask any questions that you would like to know about them. If you decide after this interview that you would like to continue, we recommend asking for a job offer or a nanny contract. By doing this, you can ensure that you’re getting off on the right foot with your future employer.
