A little bit about us

We are first time parents to our 8 month-old son. We have been loving and adjusting to our new roles as mom and dad.

Our hope is for a nanny to assist/help our baby hit his milestones (i.e. tummy time, crawling, as well as being read to, playing with age appropriate toys etc). He is a happy baby who loves playing and laughing.

We have a mini pittie dog who is very sweet and affectionate. She is trained and responds well to commands. Nanny would not be responsible for taking care of her though.

I(mom) work remote from home full-time but will stay out of the way of baby/nanny as much as possible to not distract in their activities and will keep the dog with me.

We are looking for a nanny 3 weekdays a week and about 6 hours a day (~10am - 4pm). We do have some flexibility on which days though.

A little bit about us

We have a 7-month-old baby and a german sheppard who need a part-time nanny. We would like someone to come 11-5 M/w/F and possibly for a few hours Tuesday

Fast Facts
- Both parents work outisde of the home, so you'd be alone with the baby and dog most of the day
- We need someone with a background in (or healthy curiosity for) ECE, psychology, child development, etc. .
- We would appreciate additional help with light chores (empty dishwasher, attend to baby's laundry, etc.) but would happily adjust the fee if necessary. Also, this is not a necesity, just a nicety.
- Candidates who are bilingual, conversational in ASL, have a fun talent (dancing, gardening, drumming, piano, finger painting, etc.), or interesting or unique in any other baby-firendly way will be prioritized.

Interviewing for a Housekeeper Nanny Position in Philadelphia, PA

After talking to a few employers, you’ll be invited for a housekeeping nanny job interview. Here are a few housekeeping nanny interview questions to prepare for:

  • What qualities do you have that make you a good housekeeping nanny?
  • What do you enjoy about looking after a home?
  • How many years of experience do you have with house cleaning?

In a housekeeping nanny job interview, you’ll have the opportunity to provide your nanny references and ask any questions that you would like to know about them. If you decide after this interview that you would like to continue, we recommend asking for a job offer or a nanny contract. By doing this, you can ensure that you’re getting off on the right foot with your future employer.
