Our toddler is very active and curious—he loves jumping on his trampoline, going on walks, playing at the park and in his playground, and reading books. We are looking for someone who enjoys keeping up with his energy, teaching through play, and supporting his development in a nurturing and engaging way.
Phase 1: Before Baby Arrives
January 12 – February 27
• Care for 1 toddler (2 years old)
• Schedule: Monday–Thursday
• Hours: 10:00 am – 2:00 pm (4 hours/day)
• Rate: $15/hour
Phase 2: After Baby Arrives and Maternity Leave ends
Starting April 20
• Care for 1–2 children, depending on the day
• Schedule: Monday–Friday
• Hours: 10:00 am – 2:00 pm (5 hours/day)
• Rate: $17/hour
Weekly Structure (Phase 2):
• 3 days per week: Care for the infant only while the toddler attends daycare
• 2 days per week: Care for both children at home
• Occasional responsibility: Picking up the toddler from daycare on some days (daycare is local)
Responsibilities Include:
• Engaging our toddler in active play, reading, and age-appropriate learning (colors, letters, words, etc.).
• Supporting developmental milestones through play and curiosity-based activities.
• Providing attentive, loving care for our infant (feeding, soothing, naps, basic routines).
• Occasionally picking up our toddler from daycare and helping with the transition home.
• Taking the toddler on outings such as the library or park when appropriate.
• Helping maintain a clean and organized environment related to the children (their room, clothes, toys, and play areas).
• Being comfortable around pets—we have two large, friendly dogs who are part of our family.
Additional Details:
• I work remotely, so the schedule may have slight flexibility week to week depending on meetings.
• Daycare pickup days will be communicated in advance whenever possible.
