A little bit about us
We’re looking for part-time, after-school care for our 5 year-old son. He is a loving, affectionate, and energetic child with special needs (Autism). We’re hoping to find someone who can be a consistent and caring presence for him and our family long-term.
Schedule:
• Monday–Friday, 1:00 pm–6:00 pm
• School pick-up from Porter Ridge Elementary, then care at home and/or transport to activities.
Responsibilities:
• School/aftercare pick-up and safe transportation home or to extracurricular activities
• Helping with structured play
• Providing meals and snacks as needed
• Light housework related to his care
• Supporting him with therapies, library visits, or playground outings as appropriate
Requirements:
• Clean driving record and reliable transportation (safety is very important to us)
• CPR and First Aid certified
• Experience with children with developmental delays, especially Autism
• Genuine passion for working with children—someone who will treat our son with patience, kindness, and care as if he were family

My kid is very friendly and playful. Your daily job would look like - helping with breakfast, bath ,some fun play /learning and then lunch. Need the kid to be engaged socially.

- Playing, feeding, and diaper changes
- Light housekeeping (baby laundry, cleaning kids room, food prep)

Required:
- CPR Certification
- Minimum 3-5 years nanny experience
- Reliable transportation
- Non-smoker
- 2-3 verifiable references (non-family members)
- Vaccinated (COVID, flu, TDAP)
Not required, but a BIG plus:
- Spanish speaking
- ASL
