A little bit about us

I am an Attorney in Vancouver, WA and am going through a divorce. I have a 3 month old boy and two small dogs (one is a puppy). I have a 5 bedroom house with a big fenced in backyard in East Vancouver. I will be on a week on, week off schedule. I work from home most days, especially now, so it will be easy to teach you his routine. I do not want to put my son in daycare so this could be a long term arrangement. I will also need help with some laundry, dishes washing, and a couple errands. I do not have a definite answer as to what hours, but it would be for around 6 hours a day during weekdays, every other week.

A little bit about us

We are looking for an in-home (Vancouver) part-time (18-22 hrs) nanny starting in a few weeks for our one year old boy. Here are the deets:
📍 In our home, Vancouver, WA, south of the mall
🗓️Sept 16, long term, [phone number hidden] or 1:30, Monday through Thursday at a minimum. Some days I may see if you are available to stay an hour or two longer, or if you want to pop by while we have a date night or on a weekend when I’m working.
💰$20-$23/hr DOE & duties
🐣Felix, 12 months old, has a wonderfully sweet demeanor!
I will be very present to help but most importantly, will need privacy during conference calls for work. We require someone that won’t need to bring their own children and Felix is an attention hog!
Must have early childcare experience and references, must love dogs, must be happily vaccinated, and must be a good vibe match for our household and parenting style—I know that last one is vague, but a little about us. We’re a late 30s couple, raising our little with minimal screen time, lots of outdoor immersion, sensory activities, and when he’s old enough crafts, Montessori-style toys, and experiential learning. We practice gentle parenting and discipline won’t be expected or supported at this age as we foster a secure attachment!
We’re not religious, and are allies to LGBTQ+. Mom works remotely as a Creative Director and also as a Real Estate Agent and Dad works for Trader Joe’s. We lean a little “crunchy” with mostly natural products in the home, and we eat more cooked whole foods than processed foods.
We provide nanny snacks, encourage you to make yourself at home here, and take initiative to do whatever you want with Felix as long as he is on time for his naps. Some light housework would be appreciated while he’s napping so we aren’t paying for inactive hours.
Sound like a good fit? Please comment below!

A little bit about us

Seeking a part-time nanny to help out with our daughter Emerson. We are hoping to find someone by January of 2023 at the latest, but would love the help sooner if we can find the right person for the job!

My husband and I both work from home and will be seeking help 3 days a week to start, roughly 6-8 hours a day. We can be flexible on which days, but would prefer a consistent schedule each week. Wednesday's are mandatory due to our meeting schedules. Nanny will need to provide her own transportation to and from our house.

Emerson (Emmy for short) is an adorable, almost 4 month old who loves to babble and play. She is a great sleeper, eater and a whole lot of fun! We are seeking someone to help her play and learn while we are tied up in meetings and keep up with her nap schedule. She is primarily BF but we do give her 1 bottle per day, and plan to continue doing so (I am happy to step in and feed her throughout the day). By January, she will be starting on solids as well.

We would ideally like to find someone that has prior nanny experience and or lots of experience with infants specifically. Her health and safety is of utmost importance to us, so we are seeking someone that is fully vaccinated, and has an understanding/ certification of child/infant CPR since our little one has an obsession with putting things in her mouth.

During naps, it would be helpful to find a nanny that is willing to do very light housework (tidy up, do or put away a load of her laundry, etc). Please note that we do have two large, lazy dogs at home as well.

We would love to hear from you if this sounds like a fit!
