A little bit about us

hi! i am looking for a nanny for 6 weeks+ as our current nanny is having a baby, She is going on maternity leave for an uncertain amnount of time. The oldest, Kaylee, will be going to Pre-k 7:40-2:20 mon-fri. Malcolm, the youngest, is very loving and playful, and walking all over. he has some special dietary needs, but the only real impact is tight control on what he eats and recording what he eats.

Kaylee is bright, energetic, and loves people. she loves playing with friends and making friends and is quick to learn.

Malcolm is happy, and loves to snuggle and play. he loves making noise and currently takes twom naps a day.

Ideally, this would be a 5-day a week job, monday-friday from 7:30-4ish. not looking for a maid or anything like that, just someone to take care of the kids and shower them with the attention i wish i could give if not for you know.. having a silly job.

I work from home and would be in my office during the day and available to help in any need. i live off country line by Palmer

A little bit about us

Hello! I’m looking for a nanny to work with starting next year. It would be one day per week (can be flexible in determining which day but would like it to be consistent from week to week) from about 10-5. I have three little boys who would be 3, 5, and 18 months. I run a small business and just need one day per week outside of the home to get some work done. We homeschool, so I would complete lessons with the oldest and then head out. Looking for someone to play with them, facilitate non-screen activities, and maybe help prep dinner. We also have a dog!

How to Find an Infant Care Job in Madison, AL

If you’re looking for an infant nanny job, you’ve come to the right place! We can help you find an infant care job in your area. Start by telling families about yourself in your profile, and then chat with families to find the right fit. What is an Infant Nanny in Madison, AL

An infant nanny is a nanny that specializes in caring for newborns. They are skilled in diapering and providing care for any rashes, swaddling, bathing, feeding, and burping. Some infant nannies further specialize in care for premature newborns or multiples.

Preparing for a Nanny Interview for an Infant Care Position

Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is an infant nanny job interview. Here is a list of some infant nanny interview questions to prepare for:

  • What is your specific experience with this age group?
  • Are you Infant CPR/First Aid certified in Madison, AL? Are you willing to be trained?
  • How do you handle a crying baby?
  • How often do you usually offer parents updates during the day?
  • What do you feed an infant? At 0-3 months? 3-6 months? 6-9 months? 9-12 months?
  • How do you set up the infant’s crib for a nap?
  • What kind of activities will you plan to engage my baby?

You should be prepared with your references for past nanny jobs, and ideally, past infant jobs. Prior to the infant nanny interview, be sure to think about questions that you might have for the family. This is a great time to ask questions about the responsibilities and compensation for the infant nanny position. To make sure everyone has a shared understanding of the role and responsibilities, we recommend asking for a job offer or a nanny contract. By doing this, you can get off on the right foot with your future employer.
