A little bit about us

Hello, I’m Chelsea and my husband (Zachary) and I are looking for part time help with our 2 year old son Emerson during the week! We need someone 2-3 days a week! We also have a 4 month old baby girl that I’m currently breastfeeding exclusively. You would only be caring for my son on m/thurs and would have both on fridays. We are looking for someone to help with our son 3 hours a day 3 days a week from 9-12 M,T,Fri. My schedule is currently flexible with the ability to change the days needing coverage if those dates do not work

Activities for our son would include making meals, going to our community park/community pool, amusement park visits (seaworld passes), going to mygym, following nap time schedules, arts/crafts etc.

Our expectations are that you are kind, honest, patient, reliable, vaccinated and CPR certified. My son is a happy, loving little guy that loves to keep us busy!

A little bit about us

Hello 👋🏽
We have twin girls who are one (14 months). Looking for someone full-time 9:30 to 6 Monday through Friday, with more hours (if desired) some nights and weekends. The job would be predominantly taking care of them and then things like meal prep, basic pickup, cleanup, and laundry. We live in Fairfield near Lake Mohegan. The things we care about are probably not that surprising: someone who’ll be present and fully care for the girls, someone who is reliable, and someone who will focus on development and engaged play. If you’re interested we can set up a brief introductory call - thank you!

A little bit about us

We are going to be new to the Fairfield, CT area, moving in June from Ridgewood, NJ. Our son (Wright) will be 17 months old by the time we are up there and has been in daycare since June 2021. He's the happiest little guy with the biggest smile, and he loves to interact with people.

Both parents (dad - Harry, mom- Tyler) work full-time, but Tyler works from our home office. We are looking for care from around 8:30am to 4:30pm Monday to Friday, but can be flexible with schedules. We are hoping to find someone who can truly be an extension of our family that we can have in our lives for a long time. We hope to speak with you soon!

How to Find an Infant Care Job in Fairfield, CT

If you’re looking for an infant nanny job, you’ve come to the right place! We can help you find an infant care job in your area. Start by telling families about yourself in your profile, and then chat with families to find the right fit. When you think you’ve found the right match, you can turn the discussion towards compensation and responsibilities.

What is an Infant Nanny in Fairfield, CT

An infant nanny is a nanny that specializes in caring for newborns. They are skilled in diapering and providing care for any rashes, swaddling, bathing, feeding, and burping. Some infant nannies further specialize in care for premature newborns or multiples.

Preparing for a Nanny Interview for an Infant Care Position

Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is an infant nanny job interview. Here is a list of some infant nanny interview questions to prepare for:

  • What is your specific experience with this age group?
  • Are you Infant CPR/First Aid certified in Fairfield, CT? Are you willing to be trained?
  • How do you handle a crying baby?
  • How often do you usually offer parents updates during the day?
  • What do you feed an infant? At 0-3 months? 3-6 months? 6-9 months? 9-12 months?
  • How do you set up the infant’s crib for a nap?
  • What kind of activities will you plan to engage my baby?

You should be prepared with your references for past nanny jobs, and ideally, past infant jobs. Prior to the infant nanny interview, be sure to think about questions that you might have for the family. This is a great time to ask questions about the responsibilities and compensation for the infant nanny position. To make sure everyone has a shared understanding of the role and responsibilities, we recommend asking for a job offer or a nanny contract. By doing this, you can get off on the right foot with your future employer.
