A little bit about us

7 month old boy (born 3/4/22). Nannying schedule will be based off of wife's ER work schedule. This would overall be a part time position, but certain weeks could push 30 hours. Some shifts would be estimated noon-4pm and other shifts would be 8am-3pm. Our son is starting to crawl, is very social, and is starting to eat some soft foods. Looking for someone that can drive to our house in East Coeur d'Alene. We have a 2.5 year old German wirehair dog that would hang out with you guys too during shifts.

A little bit about us

Hello! I have a sweet boy who is a year old, and I just had a little girl newly born. I work full time at home, sometimes my husband is remote as well. We would love some help 3 days out of the week. We just can’t multitask two children and work so some help would be wonderful! My one year old is very dependent on attention and always loves being active but he is the sweetest boy!! The newborn is very easy going and loves to be held and fed!

What is an Infant Nanny in Coeur d'Alene, ID

Preparing for a Nanny Interview for an Infant Care Position

Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is an infant nanny job interview. Here is a list of some infant nanny interview questions to prepare for:

  • What is your specific experience with this age group?
  • Are you Infant CPR/First Aid certified in Coeur d'Alene, ID? Are you willing to be trained?
  • How do you handle a crying baby?
  • How often do you usually offer parents updates during the day?
  • What do you feed an infant? At 0-3 months? 3-6 months? 6-9 months? 9-12 months?
  • How do you set up the infant’s crib for a nap?
  • What kind of activities will you plan to engage my baby?

You should be prepared with your references for past nanny jobs, and ideally, past infant jobs. Prior to the infant nanny interview, be sure to think about questions that you might have for the family. This is a great time to ask questions about the responsibilities and compensation for the infant nanny position. To make sure everyone has a shared understanding of the role and responsibilities, we recommend asking for a job offer or a nanny contract. By doing this, you can get off on the right foot with your future employer.
