A little bit about us

Hello Candidates,

We are the Primm family and we will soon be in need of a Nanny / Mother’s helper!

We have 3 boys!

We would describe ourselves as fun-loving, open-minded, morally driven individuals who love to travel and explore.

We are ideally seeking that has experience with multiples or with 2-3 children a year or less apart in age, that can support with education, child-care and tasking with scheduling flexibility on Monday, Tuesday, and Friday.

We homeschool and early childhood development and education are our primary focus including sensory play and Montessori style learning. With that being said, it would be amazing to find a nanny who may be a retired school teacher or has educational experience to assist us in that capacity as well!

We are looking for an extension of our village and it is all about the energy for us!

Wage is negotiable and we look forward to connecting with you further!

A little bit about us

We are expecting a baby in June and are interested in finding a nanny who can provide infant care starting around december. I am mostly looking around at nannies and daycares to understand costs of either option. We would need someone to watch our child full time, as we both work standard 9-5 weekday jobs.

A little bit about us

We are looking for a Nanny share, preferably beginning this March, for our baby girl, Bea. We will need someone to watch Bea five days per week, preferably between 8 am and 5 pm. We also have a 2 year old son, however he goes to daycare full time, 5 days per week. While we will largely handle pick-up/drop off for him, there may be days when it would be helpful to have assistance with that as well. We have a dog (a mini-bernedoodle) with a fenced in back yard, who will just need to be let out periodically throughout the day. Please don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions. Thank you!

How to Find an Infant Care Job in Libertyville, IL

If you’re looking for an infant nanny job, you’ve come to the right place! We can help you find an infant care job in your area. Start by telling families about yourself in your profile, and then chat with families to find the right fit. When you think you’ve found the right match, you can turn the discussion towards compensation and responsibilities.

What is an Infant Nanny in Libertyville, IL

An infant nanny is a nanny that specializes in caring for newborns. They are skilled in diapering and providing care for any rashes, swaddling, bathing, feeding, and burping. Some infant nannies further specialize in care for premature newborns or multiples.

Preparing for a Nanny Interview for an Infant Care Position

Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is an infant nanny job interview. Here is a list of some infant nanny interview questions to prepare for:

  • What is your specific experience with this age group?
  • Are you Infant CPR/First Aid certified in Libertyville, IL? Are you willing to be trained?
  • How do you handle a crying baby?
  • How often do you usually offer parents updates during the day?
  • What do you feed an infant? At 0-3 months? 3-6 months? 6-9 months? 9-12 months?
  • How do you set up the infant’s crib for a nap?
  • What kind of activities will you plan to engage my baby?

You should be prepared with your references for past nanny jobs, and ideally, past infant jobs. Prior to the infant nanny interview, be sure to think about questions that you might have for the family. This is a great time to ask questions about the responsibilities and compensation for the infant nanny position. To make sure everyone has a shared understanding of the role and responsibilities, we recommend asking for a job offer or a nanny contract. By doing this, you can get off on the right foot with your future employer.
