A little bit about us

Seeking Certified Weekday Nanny in Olathe – Filipino Christian Family
We are a Filipino Christian household looking for a trustworthy, caring, and affordable nanny to help care for our 2-year-old daughter. She’s bright, joyful, and loves to sing and dance. She listens well and thrives in a calm, nurturing environment with gentle guidance and skill-building play.

We’re planning ahead as we are expecting another child in March 2026 and want to ensure consistent care and support for our growing family.

Details:

• Location: Olathe, Kansas (near K-7)
• Schedule Needed: Monday through Friday, approximately 6:30am–3:00pm
• Parents’ Work Hours:• Mother: 6:00am–2:30pm (usually home by 3:00pm)
• Father: 7:00am–3:30pm (typically home around 4:00pm)

Our budget is very limited, but we’re hoping to connect with someone kind, dependable, and willing to work with us on an affordable arrangement. CPR certification and childcare experience are preferred. While our father-in-law assists occasionally, he is older and not able to take on full-time care.

If you’re passionate about working with young children and making a lasting impact, we would love to hear from you. Thank you so much for considering our family!

A little bit about us

Hi there, we have a 3 year old precious girl. Her name is Summer and 6mth old boy Kristopher. We are looking for part time help on Monday/Wednesday 8:30-3. Open to adding Tuesdays if you need extra hours. I will be home😊. We also have animals (very friendly).
Summer is so sweet and really well behaved. Kristopher is adorable and sleeps mostly right now. He gets bottles
Every 3-4 hours and diaper changes. I need someone just to play with them and keep (mainly Summer) occupied while I work. I am very hands on with her and it won’t be all on you. Very fun house over here and we love to play. ☺️

We like going to parks and coffee shops to hangout as well. Kindness is huge for us. Kind words and supportive guidance.

Pay is based on experience. We will want references. Thank you! ☺️

A little bit about us

We are looking for a part-time sitter for our 3 kids: 4,3, and 8 months, roughly 20-23 hours a week Monday thru Thursday. Each week I work 2 long days in office and 2 short days at home. Also our oldest will attend preschool on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Because of this, hourly pay will vary each day. Base pay starts at $11/hr for one child (he’s on the waitlist for part-time preschool with his sister), but currently will have 2 or 3 children a day, averaging $13.50/hr.

We are very laid-back and like to have fun. Our kids do not follow a set schedule and we do not require any type of curriculum. We encourage learning through play and pretend and physical activity.

We also do not require any additional house work or major cooking. We only ask that you and the kids clean up after any messes they make ( toys, crafts, dishes). You will need to make snacks and light lunches.

We also have a friendly golden doodle named Goose and a black cat named Toothless that likes to hide in the shadows.

We are currently looking for someone to start the second week of August.

*No smoking or drug use of any kind at our home or while the kids are in your care! *Must have clean background check and driving record!

How to Find an Infant Care Job in Olathe, KS

If you’re looking for an infant nanny job, you’ve come to the right place! We can help you find an infant care job in your area. Start by telling families about yourself in your profile, and then chat with families to find the right fit. When you think you’ve found the right match, you can turn the discussion towards compensation and responsibilities.

What is an Infant Nanny in Olathe, KS

An infant nanny is a nanny that specializes in caring for newborns. They are skilled in diapering and providing care for any rashes, swaddling, bathing, feeding, and burping. Some infant nannies further specialize in care for premature newborns or multiples.

Preparing for a Nanny Interview for an Infant Care Position

Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is an infant nanny job interview. Here is a list of some infant nanny interview questions to prepare for:

  • What is your specific experience with this age group?
  • Are you Infant CPR/First Aid certified in Olathe, KS? Are you willing to be trained?
  • How do you handle a crying baby?
  • How often do you usually offer parents updates during the day?
  • What do you feed an infant? At 0-3 months? 3-6 months? 6-9 months? 9-12 months?
  • How do you set up the infant’s crib for a nap?
  • What kind of activities will you plan to engage my baby?

You should be prepared with your references for past nanny jobs, and ideally, past infant jobs. Prior to the infant nanny interview, be sure to think about questions that you might have for the family. This is a great time to ask questions about the responsibilities and compensation for the infant nanny position. To make sure everyone has a shared understanding of the role and responsibilities, we recommend asking for a job offer or a nanny contract. By doing this, you can get off on the right foot with your future employer.
