A little bit about us

Hola! We are a bilingual and warm family looking for a loving, playful nanny to care for and develop our 15 month old boy (born July 2021). Needed for full days 8AM-4PM. We also have a daughter who is out of the house in school from 8:30AM-1:30PM and would join you for 2.5 hours of the day.

Both of us parents work at home offices. There is plenty of space to spread out - in the playroom, yard, the kids rooms. We are a multilingual household and speak Spanish with the kids at home, if you are a Spanish speaker you will go to the top of the list - it's important to us. Our two kids are smiley, sweet, energetic and cautious.

Some housekeeping, laundry or help with meals would be a plus. We offer paid holidays and vacation.

We are looking forward to getting to know you and the opportunity to welcome you into our family!

A little bit about us

Hello! I’m looking for a nanny to work from 12-4:30pm M-F. We would be looking for a start date of November 1. Our daughter will be 5 months old at this time. Looking for someone with experience with an infant, is CPR certified, and is patient.

My daughter lives with my husband and I. My husband works out of the house, but I work from home, so I would be here if need be. We have 1 cat named Otto and he is very friendly.

How often do you want to work?

What is an Infant Nanny in Harvard, MA

An infant nanny is a nanny that specializes in caring for newborns. They are skilled in diapering and providing care for any rashes, swaddling, bathing, feeding, and burping. Some infant nannies further specialize in care for premature newborns or multiples.

Preparing for a Nanny Interview for an Infant Care Position

Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is an infant nanny job interview. Here is a list of some infant nanny interview questions to prepare for:

  • What is your specific experience with this age group?
  • Are you Infant CPR/First Aid certified in Harvard, MA? Are you willing to be trained?
  • How do you handle a crying baby?
  • How often do you usually offer parents updates during the day?
  • What do you feed an infant? At 0-3 months? 3-6 months? 6-9 months? 9-12 months?
  • How do you set up the infant’s crib for a nap?
  • What kind of activities will you plan to engage my baby?

You should be prepared with your references for past nanny jobs, and ideally, past infant jobs. Prior to the infant nanny interview, be sure to think about questions that you might have for the family. This is a great time to ask questions about the responsibilities and compensation for the infant nanny position. To make sure everyone has a shared understanding of the role and responsibilities, we recommend asking for a job offer or a nanny contract. By doing this, you can get off on the right foot with your future employer.
