A little bit about us

Hi, we are John and Gloria. I'm a single dad; Gloria is a lovely young woman (11 years old) on the autism spectrum. She’s smart, funny, and easy to care for.

I need an occasional sitter when I have a business meeting (usually in the afternoon into early evening) or need a little break. You may need to meet her school bus, make dinner, and just hang out.

A little bit about us

Looking for occasional and backup care for an adorable 6 month old!

Our wonderful sitter is having surgery in a few weeks, so we are looking for someone that can step in while they recover and hopefully be available as a backup beyond that.

Any tasks directly relate to baby care. Please play with the baby! She does nap independently, and I expect you to use that time as a break! If you have availability during a shift to help tidy toys, organize her dresser, or assist with washing bottles these tasks would be very appreciated! No housekeeping type tasks are expected. There is one small dog in the home. No pet care needed.

Hours will usually be planned approximately 1-2 weeks in advance for when I need to meet with clients. I also work as a birth doula and am frequently on call, so someone that is willing to be offered last-minute hours would be super appreciated! (I don't expect that you will always be available last minute, just that I can add you to the list of people to ask!) I typically have about 12 hours notice before I have to go in to a birth.

Please have:
~Reliable transportation
~First Aid/CPR certification
~At least one reference that can attest to experience with a child under the age of one year.

Preferred but not required:
~Experience with safe handling of breastmilk
~Experience using/changing cloth diapers (You will not need to wash them or handle them beyond taking off and putting on the baby!)
~Experience with "paced bottle feeding"

A little bit about us

Hola! We are a bilingual and warm family looking for a loving, playful nanny to care for and develop our 15 month old boy (born July 2021). Needed for full days 8AM-4PM. We also have a daughter who is out of the house in school from 8:30AM-1:30PM and would join you for 2.5 hours of the day.

Both of us parents work at home offices. There is plenty of space to spread out - in the playroom, yard, the kids rooms. We are a multilingual household and speak Spanish with the kids at home, if you are a Spanish speaker you will go to the top of the list - it's important to us. Our two kids are smiley, sweet, energetic and cautious.

Some housekeeping, laundry or help with meals would be a plus. We offer paid holidays and vacation.

We are looking forward to getting to know you and the opportunity to welcome you into our family!
