A little bit about us

My 5 year old goes to school so usually she doesn’t need a nanny. My 2 year old, he’s a bit shy at first but likes to play with other people. He’s picky with meals. He loves juice. My 6 month old is on formula and he loves to play one on one and doesn’t like to be ignored. 😂

A little bit about us

We are looking for a nanny who will come to our home and care for our infant daughter (5 months) 2-3 days per week. Our schedules are flexible and hours and days can vary based on your availability. I work overnights and will be home to sleep during the day, but I will be available to help if anything comes up. Hours needed are approximately 9am-6pm but we can be very flexible. We are not looking for any additional housework outside of caring for our daughter and cleaning up after yourself. We are open to college students who have online courses/summer classes that could complete their coursework at our home while our daughter naps, etc.

A little bit about us

I am trying to find a job currently. My 10 year old is self sufficient and really would not need the care. My youngest is 2 months at the moment but would be 3 month at the time of child care needed. My 2 year old has been in daycare before and once she's in a routine she is pretty good about it. We just moved to jefferson city this past week and a half.

I am a cook and most likely my hours for care would be from 7/8 to 6/6:30
(It would be more direct once I have a job and know the hours) m-f ONLY (I do not plan on working weekends.

I would provide everything needed.

I expect the kiddos to be watched and taken care of and cleaned up after

What is an Infant Nanny in Jefferson City, MO

An infant nanny is a nanny that specializes in caring for newborns. They are skilled in diapering and providing care for any rashes, swaddling, bathing, feeding, and burping. Some infant nannies further specialize in care for premature newborns or multiples.

Preparing for a Nanny Interview for an Infant Care Position

Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is an infant nanny job interview. Here is a list of some infant nanny interview questions to prepare for:

  • What is your specific experience with this age group?
  • Are you Infant CPR/First Aid certified in Jefferson City, MO? Are you willing to be trained?
  • How do you handle a crying baby?
  • How often do you usually offer parents updates during the day?
  • What do you feed an infant? At 0-3 months? 3-6 months? 6-9 months? 9-12 months?
  • How do you set up the infant’s crib for a nap?
  • What kind of activities will you plan to engage my baby?

You should be prepared with your references for past nanny jobs, and ideally, past infant jobs. Prior to the infant nanny interview, be sure to think about questions that you might have for the family. This is a great time to ask questions about the responsibilities and compensation for the infant nanny position. To make sure everyone has a shared understanding of the role and responsibilities, we recommend asking for a job offer or a nanny contract. By doing this, you can get off on the right foot with your future employer.
