I will be sleeping during that time after working 12 hour overnight shifts. Hi! My sons name is Hunter and he will be about 12 weeks old when I am off of maternity leave and needing to return to work.
My husband and I both work in healthcare and have shift-based schedules. I work three 12-hour shifts per week, with days that may vary week to week, but I typically receive my schedule several weeks in advance and can provide plenty of notice. Most days, my husband is able to pick up our child around 6:00 PM. His schedule can vary as well, but in the event he is unavailable, I am able to pick up after my shift ends at 7:00 PM.
Some weeks we may need help 3 days a week, and other weeks we may only need help 1-2 day/week (usually once a month will this happen). We value clear communication and will always provide as much advance notice as possible
