Hello I am I mother of a little boy Da'Vii who is turning 9 months soon. I love being around definitely am willing to extend my arm as far as possible to make sure the children are safe and having fun. I've had experience in child care working at a daycare for roughly about 1 year and six 6 months during my time there I had to have a class of 4 new babies ranging from 6weeks to a years and helping around in the toddler class as well. I am a loving honest person will never be hard to deal with your child is like my child while in my care I will do every thing possible to keep safety of any child in range. A little bit about us

We're expecting a little addition to our family in December, and we're looking for someone to take care of our baby when I go back to work in early 2024. My husband has a variable schedule but a consistent start time and my schedule is very consistent. We would need someone Tuesday - Friday from 7am til 3pm, and if I were to work overtime (you would be notified at least 24 hours in advance) it would be extended til 5pm, and occasionally Saturdays from 7-1130am. We won't know for certain until we meet baby ourselves, but we're hoping it'll be as simple as feeding, changing diapers, some play time, and laying down for naps. We do have pets, 3 cats and 1 dog, they're used to us being gone during the day so they won't need any specific care aside from occasional attention. Sometimes they're all up in our business, but most of the time they mind their own. We're hoping to nanny share since quite frankly, we both work full-time and still don't make enough to pay for traditional daycare and we don't have family close enough to help us out on a regular basis. With that being said, we'll be as accommodating as possible because we only want the best treatment for someone taking the time to care for our little one.

How to Find an Infant Care Job in St. Louis, MO

If you’re looking for an infant nanny job, you’ve come to the right place! We can help you find an infant care job in your area. Start by telling families about yourself in your profile, and then chat with families to find the right fit. When you think you’ve found the right match, you can turn the discussion towards compensation and responsibilities.

What is an Infant Nanny in St. Louis, MO

An infant nanny is a nanny that specializes in caring for newborns. They are skilled in diapering and providing care for any rashes, swaddling, bathing, feeding, and burping. Some infant nannies further specialize in care for premature newborns or multiples.

Preparing for a Nanny Interview for an Infant Care Position

Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is an infant nanny job interview. Here is a list of some infant nanny interview questions to prepare for:

  • What is your specific experience with this age group?
  • Are you Infant CPR/First Aid certified in St. Louis, MO? Are you willing to be trained?
  • How do you handle a crying baby?
  • How often do you usually offer parents updates during the day?
  • What do you feed an infant? At 0-3 months? 3-6 months? 6-9 months? 9-12 months?
  • How do you set up the infant’s crib for a nap?
  • What kind of activities will you plan to engage my baby?

You should be prepared with your references for past nanny jobs, and ideally, past infant jobs. Prior to the infant nanny interview, be sure to think about questions that you might have for the family. This is a great time to ask questions about the responsibilities and compensation for the infant nanny position. To make sure everyone has a shared understanding of the role and responsibilities, we recommend asking for a job offer or a nanny contract. By doing this, you can get off on the right foot with your future employer.
