A little bit about us

Looking for nanny to take care of my sweet 3 year old boy. We would ideally love to have someone that is energetic and enjoys being outdoors as well as is able to read to him, play with him, and do age appropriate crafts at home. I’m a nurse so the days I will need will change week to week, but I can give you a two month schedule in advance. We look forward to speaking with you!

A little bit about us

My son’s name is Sawyer he is 9 months. He is such a good baby. He’s always happy and smiling. Almost never crying. Will only fuss if hungry or tired. He is VERY mobile though but easily entertained. I’m actually on the job hunt right now. Previously I have 7 years experience working in finance and subrogation claims. I also have an associates in welding tech so I am also doing alot of that work sporadically and part time. We only have 2 cats and they don’t need any care! We may look into adding care for our oldest who is 9 for a couple hours after school and that would require pick up from school. School is 7 min walk or 2 min drive. Cooking for baby would be great. Groceries would of course be provided for you both.

A little bit about us

Hello,

We are seeking immediate childcare for our 8 month old daughter. She is an extremely happy baby who sleeps independently and loves to keep busy. This position is on a part-time basis (Monday, Wednesday and occasional Fridays) with the potential for OT pay. We are looking for someone who has childcare experience, is creative, and enjoys being outside. We are a pet friendly home with two dogs, so you must like animals. We are hoping to establish a long-relationship with someone who is just as passionate as we are in helping our daughter continue to learn, grown and explore!

How to Find an Infant Care Job in Dover, NH

If you’re looking for an infant nanny job, you’ve come to the right place! We can help you find an infant care job in your area. Start by telling families about yourself in your profile, and then chat with families to find the right fit. When you think you’ve found the right match, you can turn the discussion towards compensation and responsibilities.

What is an Infant Nanny in Dover, NH

An infant nanny is a nanny that specializes in caring for newborns. They are skilled in diapering and providing care for any rashes, swaddling, bathing, feeding, and burping. Some infant nannies further specialize in care for premature newborns or multiples.

Preparing for a Nanny Interview for an Infant Care Position

Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is an infant nanny job interview. Here is a list of some infant nanny interview questions to prepare for:

  • What is your specific experience with this age group?
  • Are you Infant CPR/First Aid certified in Dover, NH? Are you willing to be trained?
  • How do you handle a crying baby?
  • How often do you usually offer parents updates during the day?
  • What do you feed an infant? At 0-3 months? 3-6 months? 6-9 months? 9-12 months?
  • How do you set up the infant’s crib for a nap?
  • What kind of activities will you plan to engage my baby?

You should be prepared with your references for past nanny jobs, and ideally, past infant jobs. Prior to the infant nanny interview, be sure to think about questions that you might have for the family. This is a great time to ask questions about the responsibilities and compensation for the infant nanny position. To make sure everyone has a shared understanding of the role and responsibilities, we recommend asking for a job offer or a nanny contract. By doing this, you can get off on the right foot with your future employer.
