A little bit about us

Looking for 2-3 days per week on Monday, Wednesday and Fridays.

We’re a loving family looking for a kind, reliable, and experienced nanny to help care for our infant daughter. We’re hoping to find someone nurturing, calm, and confident with babies who will feel like a natural part of our family.

Care will include feeding, naps, diaper changes, and engaging in age-appropriate activities. Light baby-related tidying only.

The position is part-time with consistent hours. Infant experience is required, and CPR certification is a plus. We value open communication, dependability, and someone who genuinely loves working with babies.

If this sounds like a good fit, we’d love to connect!

A little bit about us

Seeking a nanny for a 9 m. o. while Mom+Dad work from home. This is a temporary job, we don't know how long we'll be in this house or town. But we'll need the help starting the end of August until the beginning of November (possibly beyond).

Our ideal candidate would:
-Be able to work 8 hrs/day (10 am-6 pm) M-F
-Do light housework while baby naps
-Be comfortable with energetic (friendly) big dogs. We have 2, and don't expect our nanny to walk them or take care of them, but he/she should feel fine about being around them
-Be willing to fill out a W9 form at the start of job as we will be paying over the table
-Be able to get to/from our residence in Mountainville NOT using public transportation.
-Take the current pandemic VERY seriously and practice social distancing in his/her personal life. We do the same on our side.

How to Find an Infant Care Job in Lebanon, NJ

If you’re looking for an infant nanny job, you’ve come to the right place! We can help you find an infant care job in your area. Start by telling families about yourself in your profile, and then chat with families to find the right fit. When you think you’ve found the right match, you can turn the discussion towards compensation and responsibilities.

What is an Infant Nanny in Lebanon, NJ

An infant nanny is a nanny that specializes in caring for newborns. They are skilled in diapering and providing care for any rashes, swaddling, bathing, feeding, and burping. Some infant nannies further specialize in care for premature newborns or multiples.

Preparing for a Nanny Interview for an Infant Care Position

Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is an infant nanny job interview. Here is a list of some infant nanny interview questions to prepare for:

  • What is your specific experience with this age group?
  • Are you Infant CPR/First Aid certified in Lebanon, NJ? Are you willing to be trained?
  • How do you handle a crying baby?
  • How often do you usually offer parents updates during the day?
  • What do you feed an infant? At 0-3 months? 3-6 months? 6-9 months? 9-12 months?
  • How do you set up the infant’s crib for a nap?
  • What kind of activities will you plan to engage my baby?

You should be prepared with your references for past nanny jobs, and ideally, past infant jobs. Prior to the infant nanny interview, be sure to think about questions that you might have for the family. This is a great time to ask questions about the responsibilities and compensation for the infant nanny position. To make sure everyone has a shared understanding of the role and responsibilities, we recommend asking for a job offer or a nanny contract. By doing this, you can get off on the right foot with your future employer.
