Hey! As I’m a busy mom, I would like to get some additional help with my two beautiful baby boys. The timings would usually be around 8-5* 5 days a week! There wouldn’t really be additional responsibilities.

A little bit about us

Family of 4 with parents both in medicine. Mom is a NICU nurse now working over night on Sunday nights. Will be home sleeping on Monday. Dad is a psych nurse practitioner that sees patients via tele health upstairs. Our two boys are very active and definitely all boy but adorable and hilarious. They will keep you laughing, especially the 4 year old. He is so smart and will amaze you with his conversation. We follow gentle parenting. Looking for someone that wants to develop a relationship with our boys and takes pride in being an active contributor in raising them to be good people.

Expectations:

Use ours or develop own routine for your day with boys

Provide enriching developmentally appropriate activities for them or follow their lead and engage in their play

Infant care experience a must. Our youngest is a bruiser, you will definitely need to be comfortable changing a diaper as this can be an olympic sport with him

Get them outside for an outing each day or outdoor play in our yard/neighborhood. Multiple places to go in walking distance until comfortable venturing out further.

Spend quality time with 4 year old while baby is napping

Be comfortable helping 4 year old wipe

Will go over the baby's nap and feeding schedule.

Once september is here, you will only really have the baby to look after as oldest will be in preschool all day.

Goal is to find someone to become a part of the family. We will have other opportunities outside of Monday if desired. We want this to be a long term position and you be an active role in our children's life.

How to Find an Infant Care Job in Moorestown, NJ

If you’re looking for an infant nanny job, you’ve come to the right place! We can help you find an infant care job in your area. Start by telling families about yourself in your profile, and then chat with families to find the right fit. When you think you’ve found the right match, you can turn the discussion towards compensation and responsibilities.

What is an Infant Nanny in Moorestown, NJ

An infant nanny is a nanny that specializes in caring for newborns. They are skilled in diapering and providing care for any rashes, swaddling, bathing, feeding, and burping. Some infant nannies further specialize in care for premature newborns or multiples.

Preparing for a Nanny Interview for an Infant Care Position

Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is an infant nanny job interview. Here is a list of some infant nanny interview questions to prepare for:

  • What is your specific experience with this age group?
  • Are you Infant CPR/First Aid certified in Moorestown, NJ? Are you willing to be trained?
  • How do you handle a crying baby?
  • How often do you usually offer parents updates during the day?
  • What do you feed an infant? At 0-3 months? 3-6 months? 6-9 months? 9-12 months?
  • How do you set up the infant’s crib for a nap?
  • What kind of activities will you plan to engage my baby?

You should be prepared with your references for past nanny jobs, and ideally, past infant jobs. Prior to the infant nanny interview, be sure to think about questions that you might have for the family. This is a great time to ask questions about the responsibilities and compensation for the infant nanny position. To make sure everyone has a shared understanding of the role and responsibilities, we recommend asking for a job offer or a nanny contract. By doing this, you can get off on the right foot with your future employer.
