A little bit about us

I'm a stay at home mom to a 2 month old baby girl. I'm looking for a nanny to give me a little me time for a few hours at a time a couple days a week. I would be using this time to run errands around town and/or go to the gym. We have an 8 year old miniature Australian shepherd who is low maintenance and loving. We also have an 11 year old son, but I'm looking for care on days that he will be either in school or out of the house for other reasons.

A little bit about us

We’re in search of a part time nanny for our twin girls. We’re hoping to find someone to start by the end of February and our girls will be almost 11 months by then. The daily responsibilities will be some minimal meal prep for breakfast and lunch, feeding bottles, stroller walks, naps, and playtime. Mom works on a teacher schedule so the consistent schedule will conclude early June. But summer hours may be available if interested. Schedule will be Wednesdays and Thursdays 8-5, and Fridays 12-5. We have a dog and a cat in the family as well.

A little bit about us

Fraternal twin boys. Almost 11 months. As a dad, I work anywhere from 35 hrs/week to 60 hrs/week and mom wants to go back to work, at least part time. Boys are in the early stages of walking. Very curious and mischievous, as to expect at this age. Need to always keep an eye on them. They love to watch baby first programs and love to interact with anybody giving them attention. They like to play, but can rough house each other, as you would expect with brothers. We try not to encourage negative interactions between them. They are not potty trained at this time and diaper changes are needed. Looking for daytime shifts, possible occasional evenings(possible dates or couple time). We have multiple animals on property(dogs, cats, fish, frogs, turtle, chickens and a turkey). No need to care for them as we feed and clean up after them. We do have a daughter who is almost 15 who is self sustainable and can help when she is available, as she does sports and after school programs. Boys are on a schedule with naps, unless they are feeling ill.

How to Find an Infant Care Job in Grants Pass, OR

If you’re looking for an infant nanny job, you’ve come to the right place! We can help you find an infant care job in your area. Start by telling families about yourself in your profile, and then chat with families to find the right fit. When you think you’ve found the right match, you can turn the discussion towards compensation and responsibilities.

What is an Infant Nanny in Grants Pass, OR

An infant nanny is a nanny that specializes in caring for newborns. They are skilled in diapering and providing care for any rashes, swaddling, bathing, feeding, and burping. Some infant nannies further specialize in care for premature newborns or multiples.

Preparing for a Nanny Interview for an Infant Care Position

Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is an infant nanny job interview. Here is a list of some infant nanny interview questions to prepare for:

  • What is your specific experience with this age group?
  • Are you Infant CPR/First Aid certified in Grants Pass, OR? Are you willing to be trained?
  • How do you handle a crying baby?
  • How often do you usually offer parents updates during the day?
  • What do you feed an infant? At 0-3 months? 3-6 months? 6-9 months? 9-12 months?
  • How do you set up the infant’s crib for a nap?
  • What kind of activities will you plan to engage my baby?

You should be prepared with your references for past nanny jobs, and ideally, past infant jobs. Prior to the infant nanny interview, be sure to think about questions that you might have for the family. This is a great time to ask questions about the responsibilities and compensation for the infant nanny position. To make sure everyone has a shared understanding of the role and responsibilities, we recommend asking for a job offer or a nanny contract. By doing this, you can get off on the right foot with your future employer.
