A little bit about us

Hi!

I’m a single mama to a 7-month-old named Chayse. I live with him and my two heeler pups. I work in the military from Tuesday-Friday and his dad is an RN with varying hours/days.

My mom is our primary babysitter but she is deploying so we’re looking for someone to help out 2 days or so a week.

If you were able to come to my house and watch him there, you’ll have everything you could possibly need. My dogs are friendly and playful as well!

A little bit about us

Our baby will be 5 months old when we need childcare. We also have my 4 year stepdaughter every other week who will be in school every day and might just need to be picked up once in awhile. Hours would be 9 or 10 am until 4 or 5 pm. Some weeks we would need you M-F; some weeks we might not need you every day during the week ( I am occasionally off a week day here or there) but you would know well in advanced and we are pretty flexible as my husband works from home most days.

A little bit about us

My wife broke her foot and I work full time. We just need someone that can help out with our 5 month old here and there at home. Probably just changing diapers, playing, maybe feeding. My wife will still be home and can do most everything but we just need an extra hand while I’m away at work. Thank you!

What is an Infant Nanny in Aliquippa, PA

An infant nanny is a nanny that specializes in caring for newborns. They are skilled in diapering and providing care for any rashes, swaddling, bathing, feeding, and burping. Some infant nannies further specialize in care for premature newborns or multiples.

Preparing for a Nanny Interview for an Infant Care Position

Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is an infant nanny job interview. Here is a list of some infant nanny interview questions to prepare for:

  • What is your specific experience with this age group?
  • Are you Infant CPR/First Aid certified in Aliquippa, PA? Are you willing to be trained?
  • How do you handle a crying baby?
  • How often do you usually offer parents updates during the day?
  • What do you feed an infant? At 0-3 months? 3-6 months? 6-9 months? 9-12 months?
  • How do you set up the infant’s crib for a nap?
  • What kind of activities will you plan to engage my baby?

You should be prepared with your references for past nanny jobs, and ideally, past infant jobs. Prior to the infant nanny interview, be sure to think about questions that you might have for the family. This is a great time to ask questions about the responsibilities and compensation for the infant nanny position. To make sure everyone has a shared understanding of the role and responsibilities, we recommend asking for a job offer or a nanny contract. By doing this, you can get off on the right foot with your future employer.
