A little bit about us

We have three kids; a four year-old girl, a two year-old girl, and a two month old boy.

We need a babysitter July 25 - August 19. My maternity leave ends in July but the kids don’t start at their new daycare until August 19.

The days vary, depending on my work schedule. But the hours would be 8am-2pm on weekdays. One time, Saturday August 3rd, we need a babysitter at 3:30am until my husband gets home.

In addition to our kids, we also have a very timid dog. She won't need care.

My husband works early hours Tuesday-Saturday. His shift usually ends between 8 and 10am. So he comes home and goes to sleep for a few hours. He’ll be in the house but unavailable unless there’s an emergency.

A little bit about us

I need a babysitter for my 5 month old son. I work 6 AM- 4 PM, Tuesday- Friday. My son is super sweet and goofy and loves to laugh, and he loves when you copy him. He’s super easy going, too. If the babysitting is done in my home, I just ask that you leave the house as you entered it. I have 3 cats, all super friendly. One just gets a little wound up from time to time. Thank you in advance!

What is an Infant Nanny in Fayetteville, PA

An infant nanny is a nanny that specializes in caring for newborns. They are skilled in diapering and providing care for any rashes, swaddling, bathing, feeding, and burping. Some infant nannies further specialize in care for premature newborns or multiples.

Preparing for a Nanny Interview for an Infant Care Position

Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is an infant nanny job interview. Here is a list of some infant nanny interview questions to prepare for:

  • What is your specific experience with this age group?
  • Are you Infant CPR/First Aid certified in Fayetteville, PA? Are you willing to be trained?
  • How do you handle a crying baby?
  • How often do you usually offer parents updates during the day?
  • What do you feed an infant? At 0-3 months? 3-6 months? 6-9 months? 9-12 months?
  • How do you set up the infant’s crib for a nap?
  • What kind of activities will you plan to engage my baby?

You should be prepared with your references for past nanny jobs, and ideally, past infant jobs. Prior to the infant nanny interview, be sure to think about questions that you might have for the family. This is a great time to ask questions about the responsibilities and compensation for the infant nanny position. To make sure everyone has a shared understanding of the role and responsibilities, we recommend asking for a job offer or a nanny contract. By doing this, you can get off on the right foot with your future employer.
