Im currently looking for a nanny to watch them part time since i am entering the working field again. Responsibilities would include feeding and changing the baby and toddler. Keeping her entertained she loves books or giving her a snack. The current schedule is for 4 hours a day for about 3- 4 days a week 2:30 - 6-30

A little bit about us

Mateo is 10 months old and is truly just a happy baby! He is such a sweet boy and loves to play and go on walks.

I am a substitute teacher so it might change but at this point I want someone to be able to commit to one day every week from 9 am - 4 pm.
I have a 3 year old labradoodle who is so sweet and loves people and is very good with our son. If weather permits please take Rover and Mateo on a walk sometime throughout the day. Rover will be fed and taken to the bathroom before and after so that is not necessary for you to do. He is crate trained and if needed can be in his crate during certain hours of the day.

Mateo thrives on his schedule and I will have everything very clearly written out for him. I have been home with my son the majority of his life thus far and really looking for a nanny I can trust entirely as this will be a change for both of us.

A little bit about us

Hello, I’m looking for a part time nanny for my infant daughter starting in March 2024, when she will be roughly 5 months old. Days are flexible as I work in office 2 days per week and work from home 3 days per week. Ideally, the working hours would fall somewhere between Monday- Thursday. I do have two dogs at home so you would have to be comfortable around pets/ no allergies. Please reach out if you’re interested and we can chat more!

What is an Infant Nanny in Lower Paxton Township, PA

An infant nanny is a nanny that specializes in caring for newborns. They are skilled in diapering and providing care for any rashes, swaddling, bathing, feeding, and burping. Some infant nannies further specialize in care for premature newborns or multiples.

Preparing for a Nanny Interview for an Infant Care Position

Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is an infant nanny job interview. Here is a list of some infant nanny interview questions to prepare for:

  • What is your specific experience with this age group?
  • Are you Infant CPR/First Aid certified in Lower Paxton Township, PA? Are you willing to be trained?
  • How do you handle a crying baby?
  • How often do you usually offer parents updates during the day?
  • What do you feed an infant? At 0-3 months? 3-6 months? 6-9 months? 9-12 months?
  • How do you set up the infant’s crib for a nap?
  • What kind of activities will you plan to engage my baby?

You should be prepared with your references for past nanny jobs, and ideally, past infant jobs. Prior to the infant nanny interview, be sure to think about questions that you might have for the family. This is a great time to ask questions about the responsibilities and compensation for the infant nanny position. To make sure everyone has a shared understanding of the role and responsibilities, we recommend asking for a job offer or a nanny contract. By doing this, you can get off on the right foot with your future employer.
