A little bit about us
Our girls: Evie is almost four (gymnastics, music, dance, nature class, art). Izzy is a year and a half and in full toddler mode.
You’d join a home that already runs on a rhythm: our longtime nanny Mindy covers Wednesday through Friday, a house cleaner comes weekly, and a crew handles the outside. You’re not walking into chaos. You’re stepping into a system that works.
The role: 2 to 3 days per week to start (generally Mon-Wed), flexible hours, and real room to grow into more days and family travel. When Brittany is out, you’re fully with the girls: on the floor, driving to activities, protecting naps and routines. When she wants time with them, you help the house hum: tidying, kids’ laundry, resetting play spaces. We have a pool, so confidence in the water is a must. CPR certification is a plus.
1. Fully Present. The kids get all of you. Phone away, eyes at their level.
2. Calm and Proactive. Your voice gets softer when the girls get louder, and you see what needs done before anyone asks.
3. Reliable, No Excuses. On time means early. When you make a mistake, we hear it from you first.
4. Honors the Playbook. Food, routines, screens, and discipline stay consistent. Nothing changes when we leave.
Most nanny jobs are transactions. This one is a relationship with a family that communicates directly, treats you with respect, and pays you well.

Preparing for a Nanny Interview for an Infant Care Position
Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is an infant nanny job interview. Here is a list of some infant nanny interview questions to prepare for:
- What is your specific experience with this age group?
- Are you Infant CPR/First Aid certified in Murrysville, PA? Are you willing to be trained?
- How do you handle a crying baby?
- How often do you usually offer parents updates during the day?
- What do you feed an infant? At 0-3 months? 3-6 months? 6-9 months? 9-12 months?
- How do you set up the infant’s crib for a nap?
- What kind of activities will you plan to engage my baby?
You should be prepared with your references for past nanny jobs, and ideally, past infant jobs. Prior to the infant nanny interview, be sure to think about questions that you might have for the family. This is a great time to ask questions about the responsibilities and compensation for the infant nanny position. To make sure everyone has a shared understanding of the role and responsibilities, we recommend asking for a job offer or a nanny contract. By doing this, you can get off on the right foot with your future employer.
