A little bit about us

Looking for fully vaccinated FT nanny who is comfortable taking care of our premature baby girl. The baby is very healthy but is considered immune-compromised due to her premature birth, and just cannot get sick in the first 2 years with flu, COVID or other infections. Hence the requirement for nanny to be fully vaccinated. Hours are M-F 8am-5pm.

Key responsibilities include:
1. Core infant care (changing diaper, feeding, food prep, checking temperature, walks twice a day, occasional baths)
2. Light housekeeping (laundry, cleaning, occasional shopping run, lunch/dinner prep for family if needed)
3. Occasionally stay overnight if baby is sick and go on doctor appointments with or instead of parents.

We are just looking for someone to watch our baby while we work from home for a few hours a day .... Hours are usually 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. We do have pets but you don't have to do anything with them. Two cats and two dogs. The days would be leaving Monday and Tuesday ... A lot of the time you're just going to be hanging out because she'll already be fed but could include feeding a bottle or changing a diaper. And we would be in the house if you need anything. Preparing for a Nanny Interview for an Infant Care Position

Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is an infant nanny job interview. Here is a list of some infant nanny interview questions to prepare for:

  • What is your specific experience with this age group?
  • Are you Infant CPR/First Aid certified in Nether Providence Township, PA? Are you willing to be trained?
  • How do you handle a crying baby?
  • How often do you usually offer parents updates during the day?
  • What do you feed an infant? At 0-3 months? 3-6 months? 6-9 months? 9-12 months?
  • How do you set up the infant’s crib for a nap?
  • What kind of activities will you plan to engage my baby?

You should be prepared with your references for past nanny jobs, and ideally, past infant jobs. Prior to the infant nanny interview, be sure to think about questions that you might have for the family. This is a great time to ask questions about the responsibilities and compensation for the infant nanny position. To make sure everyone has a shared understanding of the role and responsibilities, we recommend asking for a job offer or a nanny contract. By doing this, you can get off on the right foot with your future employer.
