A little bit about us

Hi! I’m a blessed mama to 2 sweet girls who will be 9 months and a 2 year old, respectively in the fall. I’m looking for a sweet and dedicated nanny to come join my daughters and husband and I part time (Mondays, Tuesdays and Weds) from 8-4pm while my husband and I work out of the house. We’re a christian family and our faith is extremely important to us so we’d like to find someone likeminded. Responsibilities include having a playful spirit and playing with my darling girls, teaching them age and ability appropriate things, going on walks, feeding lunch/snacks, putting down for naps, diaper changes and light housework (dishes, cleaning and organizing toys, the girls’ clothes, etc). We don’t have any pets. Nanny must have own car to get to our home but won’t need to drive my little ones anywhere. Must be non-smoker. Looking for someone to stay with us for at least a year and become part of our family! I look forward to hearing from you!

A little bit about us

My wife and I have one daughter named Heidi who is 6 months old. We would like to find someone to watch her at our house for 1-2 days per week reoccurring. You would not have to do any basic housekeeping. Just bottle feeding, dealing with naps, and playing with her while we are busy. My wife works from home and I am in and out, so there will always be someone around to help out.

What is an Infant Nanny in New Britain, PA

An infant nanny is a nanny that specializes in caring for newborns. They are skilled in diapering and providing care for any rashes, swaddling, bathing, feeding, and burping. Some infant nannies further specialize in care for premature newborns or multiples.

Preparing for a Nanny Interview for an Infant Care Position

Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is an infant nanny job interview. Here is a list of some infant nanny interview questions to prepare for:

  • What is your specific experience with this age group?
  • Are you Infant CPR/First Aid certified in New Britain, PA? Are you willing to be trained?
  • How do you handle a crying baby?
  • How often do you usually offer parents updates during the day?
  • What do you feed an infant? At 0-3 months? 3-6 months? 6-9 months? 9-12 months?
  • How do you set up the infant’s crib for a nap?
  • What kind of activities will you plan to engage my baby?

You should be prepared with your references for past nanny jobs, and ideally, past infant jobs. Prior to the infant nanny interview, be sure to think about questions that you might have for the family. This is a great time to ask questions about the responsibilities and compensation for the infant nanny position. To make sure everyone has a shared understanding of the role and responsibilities, we recommend asking for a job offer or a nanny contract. By doing this, you can get off on the right foot with your future employer.
