A little bit about us

Hello there! Thank you for being here! We are looking for a caring, responsible, creative person to come to our home 3-5 days a week. We need someone who is flexible, as our work schedule varies from week to week. The average day would include getting our oldest child (6) on and off the bus and watching our two little ones during the day who are 2 and 4 months. This would include preparing meals and light house work (if possible) during nap time. We also have a very lazy 10-year-old pup who asks to go outside occasionally throughout the day. ;) It is very important to us that we find someone who loves spending time with not only our kiddos but our whole family. Someone who will be with us long term as a nanny, but also as a friend! Please reach out with any questions! We look forward to meeting with you!

A little bit about us

hello. We have a 5 month old baby. We are starting to plan for baby #2. We would like someone to be in our home monday-friday and work full time. Must have a background check, transportation and drug free. Our home is pet friendly, but we do not need someone to take care of the animals. You must have experience with infants and newborns, first aid and CPR. Your main duties will be to take care of the children and prep their meals. We would like someone who will read, sing, play games, do seasonal arts and crafts, watch movies with them etc. I also expect a hand written daily report given to me at the end of every shift.

How to Find an Infant Care Job in NEW SALEM BRO, PA

If you’re looking for an infant nanny job, you’ve come to the right place! We can help you find an infant care job in your area. Start by telling families about yourself in your profile, and then chat with families to find the right fit. When you think you’ve found the right match, you can turn the discussion towards compensation and responsibilities.

What is an Infant Nanny in NEW SALEM BRO, PA

An infant nanny is a nanny that specializes in caring for newborns. They are skilled in diapering and providing care for any rashes, swaddling, bathing, feeding, and burping. Some infant nannies further specialize in care for premature newborns or multiples.

Preparing for a Nanny Interview for an Infant Care Position

Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is an infant nanny job interview. Here is a list of some infant nanny interview questions to prepare for:

  • What is your specific experience with this age group?
  • Are you Infant CPR/First Aid certified in NEW SALEM BRO, PA? Are you willing to be trained?
  • How do you handle a crying baby?
  • How often do you usually offer parents updates during the day?
  • What do you feed an infant? At 0-3 months? 3-6 months? 6-9 months? 9-12 months?
  • How do you set up the infant’s crib for a nap?
  • What kind of activities will you plan to engage my baby?

You should be prepared with your references for past nanny jobs, and ideally, past infant jobs. Prior to the infant nanny interview, be sure to think about questions that you might have for the family. This is a great time to ask questions about the responsibilities and compensation for the infant nanny position. To make sure everyone has a shared understanding of the role and responsibilities, we recommend asking for a job offer or a nanny contract. By doing this, you can get off on the right foot with your future employer.
