We just got pregnant so are just planning ahead, understanding it is a bit early. That's okay though! Our family lifestyle is very down to earth; we're clean and organized; and are both professionals (Im a Scientist with a PhD and he's an Analyst!). We're avid weightlifters and love being active - we actually have a gym at the house our nanny would have access to!
We're looking for a part time nanny to supplement our daycare options - but will consider full time for the right person! As part of that time, we'd like about 30 minutes to be dedicated to helping around the house. As I mentioned, we're very clean so its more just wiping down the counters, switching laundry over, or swiffering the floor - nothing crazy.
Our parenting style (we have two kids who don't live with us full time) is thoughtful. We prioritize being able to explain why and offer depth behind why our kids should be doing something. We like them to be active, learning new things, and independent! We aren't religious and aren't huge on holidays. For example, at Christmas, we prefer to do one big thing as a family instead of a lot of little gifts.
We'd love someone who fits right into our family! Education (in any form) is important to us. Patience is a priority. And maturity is key.

Harper is 3 months old. She is very active during awake times, but she loves her sleep. We are looking for one on one care for her to be able to grow into a little person at her own pace. We have lots of play items in the house, and she enjoys being in the stroller outside. I work from home, so start and end hours could be flexible (7am to 9am start with a 3pm to 5pm end). We do have two German Shepherds that the nanny will need to be comfortable around, but care for the dogs would only go as far as letting them out into the fenced backyard.
