A little bit about us

Luke is the sweetest almost 3 year old who is social, active and loves to laugh and play. We will welcome a baby girl into our family this May and I could use some help for a few hours during the week on M/W/F (Luke will be at preschool then - so just the baby $15/hour) and also some weekends and evenings for date nights (both kids - $20/hour) Our home is clean, we have a friendly cat named Ralphie and we are looking for a special person to love Luke and our new baby in this season.

A little bit about us

Our family needs a fun, reliable, firm and interactive part-time nanny for this summer! We have 4 children, but the majority of the summer will be for 3 of them. Our 4 year old will mainly be in summer camp, but we will have a mixture of the other 3 home (camp/activity dependent) ages 8, 9 and 11.

I will need help M/W/F with care from 10-3pm. The weeks are:

June 1-5
June 8-12
June 22 - 26
July 6 -10 (all 4 children)
July 13-17 (all 4 children)
July 20-24

We will need help bringing kids to and from activities on certain days, so a clean driving record is a must. This role is perfect for an older college aged student or young teacher on summer break. We pay $20/hour.

Both my husband and I work from home in a home office.

We have a great backyard space as well as indoor play space. We will also be joining a pool and have neighbors with children for ours to play with.

We are a Catholic family and would love an individual who will respect our family rules of clean language and moral growth. We also ask for a level of modesty with clothing and someone who is willing to put their phone away during these hours.

We are looking for someone with experience caring for a child with ADHD. Our 9 year old needs someone full of fun energy, but who is structured, has routine and can set and keep firm boundaries for behavior. Our children are VERY active, and we would like to limit screen time while you are here, focusing on energy outlets, creativity and fun!

We also would like someone who is willing to help with light housekeeping such as doing dishes, wiping counters and generally helping the kids pick up after themselves.

If you feel like you will be a good fit, please reach out!

A little bit about us

Hi! We’re looking for a nanny to watch our 2 year old son starting as early as mid-Sep 2023 to free up a stay-at-home parent for part time work. He is VERY playful so just needs someone to keep up with him, give him snacks and drinks, and change diapers. Will also start toilet training soon. Desired hours would be 1-5pm M-F. We have a second son due in Jan 2024 who we would then also need help with. We have a low maintenance dog who wouldn’t need any special nanny care.

A little bit about us

Hi! We have two sweet girls - Saga (4 months) and Willow (4 years) - and are interested in at home care for Saga at least 20 hours per week and Willow when as well when she is out of school. I have a flexible work schedule and don’t have much of a preference on which days of the week we have care. I would like to leave the house around 8:30/9 but can be flexible if necessary. We would be willing to consider a nanny share if the right situation arose. We have a golden retriever who would appreciate being let out and played with but she is also used to us being gone during the day. Would be a huge plus if you’re willing to work an occasional evening for us to go on a date!!

How to Find an Infant Care Job in Knoxville, TN

If you’re looking for an infant nanny job, you’ve come to the right place! We can help you find an infant care job in your area. Start by telling families about yourself in your profile, and then chat with families to find the right fit. When you think you’ve found the right match, you can turn the discussion towards compensation and responsibilities.

What is an Infant Nanny in Knoxville, TN

An infant nanny is a nanny that specializes in caring for newborns. They are skilled in diapering and providing care for any rashes, swaddling, bathing, feeding, and burping. Some infant nannies further specialize in care for premature newborns or multiples.

Preparing for a Nanny Interview for an Infant Care Position

Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is an infant nanny job interview. Here is a list of some infant nanny interview questions to prepare for:

  • What is your specific experience with this age group?
  • Are you Infant CPR/First Aid certified in Knoxville, TN? Are you willing to be trained?
  • How do you handle a crying baby?
  • How often do you usually offer parents updates during the day?
  • What do you feed an infant? At 0-3 months? 3-6 months? 6-9 months? 9-12 months?
  • How do you set up the infant’s crib for a nap?
  • What kind of activities will you plan to engage my baby?

You should be prepared with your references for past nanny jobs, and ideally, past infant jobs. Prior to the infant nanny interview, be sure to think about questions that you might have for the family. This is a great time to ask questions about the responsibilities and compensation for the infant nanny position. To make sure everyone has a shared understanding of the role and responsibilities, we recommend asking for a job offer or a nanny contract. By doing this, you can get off on the right foot with your future employer.
