A little bit about us

Our family is in search of a wonderful nanny/sitter that is reliable, consistent, and positive! Our daughter’s name is Lillie. She is 5 months old. We are seeking child care for 2 days a week, Tuesday and Wednesday every week. The schedule is 7:30am to 4:30pm at our home. We want the best care! This is our first baby girl, and it is hard for us to have to leave her with someone new. We will provide the food, diapers, and all necessities. We would need this person to have a valid drivers license, knowledge of CPR, experience with infants, and great resume! We need someone to be able to care for her with any needs she may have, feed her, read books, play with her, and rock her for naps. She loves Disney movies, sensory videos, swinging, laughing, being read to, playing in her walker, playing in her activity mat, and LOVES to eat her bites! We need someone to start in the month of January, preferably very soon. This would mean the world to us knowing that our baby girl is taken care of!

Looking for an amazing nanny to help with ad hoc shifts throughout the week, mostly in the evenings for date nights/ social events we'll be busy with.

We live in Hardin Valley and our baby boy was born November 2022. He is so so sweet and smily! He loves looking around, rolling on his play mat, and cooing.

Light housework appreciated (laundry, vacuum, etc). Meal prep not needed.

How to Find an Infant Care Job in Knoxville, TN

If you’re looking for an infant nanny job, you’ve come to the right place! We can help you find an infant care job in your area. What is an Infant Nanny in Knoxville, TN

An infant nanny is a nanny that specializes in caring for newborns. They are skilled in diapering and providing care for any rashes, swaddling, bathing, feeding, and burping. Some infant nannies further specialize in care for premature newborns or multiples.

Preparing for a Nanny Interview for an Infant Care Position

Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is an infant nanny job interview. Here is a list of some infant nanny interview questions to prepare for:

  • What is your specific experience with this age group?
  • Are you Infant CPR/First Aid certified in Knoxville, TN? Are you willing to be trained?
  • How do you handle a crying baby?
  • How often do you usually offer parents updates during the day?
  • What do you feed an infant? At 0-3 months? 3-6 months? 6-9 months? 9-12 months?
  • How do you set up the infant’s crib for a nap?
  • What kind of activities will you plan to engage my baby?

You should be prepared with your references for past nanny jobs, and ideally, past infant jobs. Prior to the infant nanny interview, be sure to think about questions that you might have for the family. This is a great time to ask questions about the responsibilities and compensation for the infant nanny position. To make sure everyone has a shared understanding of the role and responsibilities, we recommend asking for a job offer or a nanny contract. By doing this, you can get off on the right foot with your future employer.
