A little bit about us

We are the Joslyns! Hours listed are flexible. Our son is 9 months old. Dad works full time and mom is a PhD Candidate looking for part time help so she can get some research and writing done.

Responsibilities include playing, feeding (baby led weaning and bottles), putting down for naps, and light housekeeping/meal prep related to care for our son.

Mom will be home most of the time working in a home office, but will be away occasionally for errands and appointments. As noted, our preference is to find help three days a week. The hours are fairly flexible.

If you like babies, houseplants, and cats, and if you are looking for a summer position that can translate to occasional babysitting in the fall, please send along your availability! We look forward to meeting you.

A little bit about us

Looking for a part time nanny for a 4 to 5 month old in Aug / Sept 2024. We are looking for hours of 9am - 4pm 4 days a week, but can be flexible on the exact times (say 9-5 3 days a week, and a half-day one day a week). The job would be for at least a year, likely longer. Dad works from home, and mom works from home a 2-3 days a week. Start date is early August (earliest) to September (but we're flexible).

Needs - make sure baby is safe, fed, naps well, happy and has play time and tummy time. When mom is working from home, she will feed baby herself, otherwise nanny will need to bottle feed pumped milk in fridge. We're flexible on light cleaning / laundry. Nanny must be CPR and first aid certified.

A little bit about us

Hello! My wife and I have recently moved back to Massachusetts with our 23 month old son and our recently born 2 month old daughter. We are now living in Sudbury.

Our son will be starting full time daycare soon but will need someone to watch our daughter starting towards the end of November. We are currently looking for an experienced nanny who may be willing to take on childcare approximately 2-3 full days a week (generally Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday). The approximate hours would be around 7:00am to 5:30pm.

Aside from helping with basic childcare needs, warming her milk, washing her bottles, and perhaps folding her laundry on occasion, we would not expect any advanced home maintenance. Depending on how things go, there may be opportunity to extend days to 4 or 5 full days a week.

Thank you kindly for your interest.

A little bit about us

Hi! We are looking for someone to care for our daughter who was born in July. She’s an easy going and happy baby who loves looking at books, being outdoors, and listening to music. Our hours and days are a little odd, as my husband works 7 days on/7 days off, and my schedule can vary. We would ideally like someone who can take her to fun places, like playgrounds/libraries/play dates. We do have a dog who is a little shy… so someone who knows how to be around a shy dog would be ideal (no pet care needed for him though!) We would love to have someone that can not just be our nanny, but a part of our family!

How to Find an Infant Care Job in Sudbury, MA

If you’re looking for an infant nanny job, you’ve come to the right place! We can help you find an infant care job in your area. Start by telling families about yourself in your profile, and then chat with families to find the right fit. When you think you’ve found the right match, you can turn the discussion towards compensation and responsibilities.

What is an Infant Nanny in Sudbury, MA

An infant nanny is a nanny that specializes in caring for newborns. They are skilled in diapering and providing care for any rashes, swaddling, bathing, feeding, and burping. Some infant nannies further specialize in care for premature newborns or multiples.

Preparing for a Nanny Interview for an Infant Care Position

Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is an infant nanny job interview. Here is a list of some infant nanny interview questions to prepare for:

  • What is your specific experience with this age group?
  • Are you Infant CPR/First Aid certified in Sudbury, MA? Are you willing to be trained?
  • How do you handle a crying baby?
  • How often do you usually offer parents updates during the day?
  • What do you feed an infant? At 0-3 months? 3-6 months? 6-9 months? 9-12 months?
  • How do you set up the infant’s crib for a nap?
  • What kind of activities will you plan to engage my baby?

You should be prepared with your references for past nanny jobs, and ideally, past infant jobs. Prior to the infant nanny interview, be sure to think about questions that you might have for the family. This is a great time to ask questions about the responsibilities and compensation for the infant nanny position. To make sure everyone has a shared understanding of the role and responsibilities, we recommend asking for a job offer or a nanny contract. By doing this, you can get off on the right foot with your future employer.
