A little bit about us

We are looking for a nanny for our two sweet kids, Zaza (almost 3) and baby James (4 months). Zaza is very spirited and fun but is in preschool so would only be around half the time and James is a great baby. We are looking for someone 4 days a week - we are fairly flexible on which days but they’ll be set days - 10-4 but we are flexible on times too. We’d like our nanny to have lots of screen-free fun with the kids and help out with some meal prep when the kids are asleep. Pick up and drop off help needed.

My husband and I have a son that will be 4 is June and a daughter that will be 2 in May. We are expecting twins in August. We are looking for care beginning in November/December 2022 for the twins. I think the older two would be at daycare all day but still figuring out the details. We may put them in a part time school where we would need help with them as well, but just for half the day. Open for discussion!

A little bit about us

We have a sweet little girl named Adalyn who will need a nanny for three days of the week and occasionally more hours depending on the work week. We are young professionals that are looking for somebody who loves children. The days needed will most likely be from Tuesday to Thursday from 9am to 4pm, possibly longer. We are somewhat flexible when it comes to the hours. She is a baby so routine feeding, burping and diaper changing abilities are a positive; however these skills are easily taught if needed. Our daughters name is Adalyn. Her favorite food is milk, favorite hobbies include long naps and hanging out with her parents. Overall she's a solid baby with a nanny need.

I work in healthcare with flexible (to some degree) days worked during the week. My husband works from home M-F.

We have one daughter who is 8 months old. She is starting to move around more and is a joy to be around. She's pretty easy going and loves interaction. We have one dog in the house with the only requirement being childcare!

How to Find an Infant Care Job in Lake Elmo, MN

If you’re looking for an infant nanny job, you’ve come to the right place! We can help you find an infant care job in your area. Start by telling families about yourself in your profile, and then chat with families to find the right fit. When you think you’ve found the right match, you can turn the discussion towards compensation and responsibilities.

What is an Infant Nanny in Lake Elmo, MN

An infant nanny is a nanny that specializes in caring for newborns. They are skilled in diapering and providing care for any rashes, swaddling, bathing, feeding, and burping. Some infant nannies further specialize in care for premature newborns or multiples.

Preparing for a Nanny Interview for an Infant Care Position

Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is an infant nanny job interview. Here is a list of some infant nanny interview questions to prepare for:

  • What is your specific experience with this age group?
  • Are you Infant CPR/First Aid certified in Lake Elmo, MN? Are you willing to be trained?
  • How do you handle a crying baby?
  • How often do you usually offer parents updates during the day?
  • What do you feed an infant? At 0-3 months? 3-6 months? 6-9 months? 9-12 months?
  • How do you set up the infant’s crib for a nap?
  • What kind of activities will you plan to engage my baby?

You should be prepared with your references for past nanny jobs, and ideally, past infant jobs. Prior to the infant nanny interview, be sure to think about questions that you might have for the family. This is a great time to ask questions about the responsibilities and compensation for the infant nanny position. To make sure everyone has a shared understanding of the role and responsibilities, we recommend asking for a job offer or a nanny contract. By doing this, you can get off on the right foot with your future employer.
