A little bit about us

Hi! We are Max and Heather and we have a 2 year old daughter, and one daughter on the way. We are both self-employed so we have some flexibility but ideally would like someone Tuesday, Thursday & Friday for the entire day and then half day Wednesday. We have a dog but we would handle all of his responsibilities but we would need someone here who is comfortable around dogs and not allergic. Heather works from home 100% of the time so just someone to step in and help take care of our toddler while she is working - including light meal prep, cleaning and laundry for our daughter

A little bit about us

Looking for someone to watch our daughter who will be around 7 months old at the time we need care for 3 days a week. Days can be flexible and hours can be slightly flexible but roughly looking for 9a-5p. Currently I work from home full time and my husband works from home part time which could change by the time we are looking for care. We have two friendly pups that might require a small bit of care but with my husband and I working from home that will be minimal. If our work schedules change at any point we will make arrangements for the dogs so pet care would remain minimal.

If you’re looking for an infant nanny job, you’ve come to the right place! We can help you find an infant care job in your area. What is an Infant Nanny in University City, MO

Preparing for a Nanny Interview for an Infant Care Position

Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is an infant nanny job interview. Here is a list of some infant nanny interview questions to prepare for:

  • What is your specific experience with this age group?
  • Are you Infant CPR/First Aid certified in University City, MO? Are you willing to be trained?
  • How do you handle a crying baby?
  • How often do you usually offer parents updates during the day?
  • What do you feed an infant? At 0-3 months? 3-6 months? 6-9 months? 9-12 months?
  • How do you set up the infant’s crib for a nap?
  • What kind of activities will you plan to engage my baby?

You should be prepared with your references for past nanny jobs, and ideally, past infant jobs. Prior to the infant nanny interview, be sure to think about questions that you might have for the family. This is a great time to ask questions about the responsibilities and compensation for the infant nanny position. To make sure everyone has a shared understanding of the role and responsibilities, we recommend asking for a job offer or a nanny contract. By doing this, you can get off on the right foot with your future employer.
