Looking for a bilingual nanny to help watch our baby girl Madison for 2 days a week! She is a sassy 6 month old, and we will Ideally need a great nanny for 8 hours a day while my husband and I are at work.

Must be comfortable around a playful dog. Light cleaning (only after your own use) is needed. Definitely need to be able to teach Madison Spanish. CPR certified, pretty organized routine.

Thanks!

A little bit about us

I am a first time mom to my sweet newborn baby boy Tony. I will be returning to work from maternity leave in October 2022 and I need some help.
I will need help roughly from 7:00am to 3:00pm 3-4 days a week. We would like someone to love and care for our sweet boy when we can’t be home. I like a tidy home as in you pick up after yourself and the baby for the day and maybe small meal prep for him but no extra housework is required at this time. We would like someone warm and affectionate with some experience in infant care. We are a bilingual home and speak both English and italian to our son.

A little bit about us

I'm seeking an experienced babysitter for my 7-year-old and 3-year-old sons for part-time help with summer camp and daycare pickups, from approximately 4:00-6:30 PM, Wednesday through Friday. The exact hours and schedule are flexible, with the possibility of additional hours. I’m looking for someone kind and nurturing who enjoys interacting with children and can assist with meal prep and picking up our older son from summer camp. The care will be provided at my home in Belleville, NJ. We prefer a sitter with a driver's license and their own vehicle, and our home is currently pet-free and smoke-free.

How to Find an Infant Care Job in Belleville, NJ

If you’re looking for an infant nanny job, you’ve come to the right place! We can help you find an infant care job in your area. Start by telling families about yourself in your profile, and then chat with families to find the right fit. When you think you’ve found the right match, you can turn the discussion towards compensation and responsibilities.

What is an Infant Nanny in Belleville, NJ

An infant nanny is a nanny that specializes in caring for newborns. They are skilled in diapering and providing care for any rashes, swaddling, bathing, feeding, and burping. Some infant nannies further specialize in care for premature newborns or multiples.

Preparing for a Nanny Interview for an Infant Care Position

Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is an infant nanny job interview. Here is a list of some infant nanny interview questions to prepare for:

  • What is your specific experience with this age group?
  • Are you Infant CPR/First Aid certified in Belleville, NJ? Are you willing to be trained?
  • How do you handle a crying baby?
  • How often do you usually offer parents updates during the day?
  • What do you feed an infant? At 0-3 months? 3-6 months? 6-9 months? 9-12 months?
  • How do you set up the infant’s crib for a nap?
  • What kind of activities will you plan to engage my baby?

You should be prepared with your references for past nanny jobs, and ideally, past infant jobs. Prior to the infant nanny interview, be sure to think about questions that you might have for the family. This is a great time to ask questions about the responsibilities and compensation for the infant nanny position. To make sure everyone has a shared understanding of the role and responsibilities, we recommend asking for a job offer or a nanny contract. By doing this, you can get off on the right foot with your future employer.
