A little bit about us

We are a warm, hands-on family in Bushkill, PA, seeking a nurturing, trustworthy full-time nanny for our two daughters—an energetic 21-month-old and a curious 8-month-old. As I transition from being a stay-at-home mom to working full-time remotely, we’re looking for someone who can provide loving, dependable care and become a trusted, long-term presence in our children’s lives.

Responsibilities:
•Provide warm, attentive, and developmentally appropriate care
•Plan and lead engaging activities (arts, music, sensory play, outdoor exploration)
•Diapering, including early potty training with toddler
•Feeding and preparing simple, healthy meals and snacks
•Bottle-feeding and introducing solids for the baby
•Maintain nap routines and a predictable daily rhythm
•Light child-related housekeeping (tidying toys, washing bottles, children’s laundry)
•Open communication with parents about daily activities, milestones, and observations

Qualifications:
•3+ years of experience caring for infants and toddlers
•Current CPR and First Aid certification
•Valid driver’s license and reliable, insured transportation
•Willing and able to pass a background check
•Comfortable working in a home with work-from-home parents
•Looking for a long-term position (minimum 1 year commitment)

How to Apply:
Please include the following in your message:
1. A brief introduction and why you’re interested in this role
2. Your resume or summary of relevant experience
3. Hourly rate expectations and start date availability
4. Confirmation of educational background and certifications
5. Two or more references from previous childcare roles
6. Confirmation that you have reliable transportation and can pass a background check

We are excited to welcome someone into our home who will be a consistent, caring, and enriching presence in our daughters’ lives. If that sounds like you, we’d love to hear from you!

Preparing for a Nanny Interview for an Infant Care Position

Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is an infant nanny job interview. Here is a list of some infant nanny interview questions to prepare for:

  • What is your specific experience with this age group?
  • Are you Infant CPR/First Aid certified in Bushkill, PA? Are you willing to be trained?
  • How do you handle a crying baby?
  • How often do you usually offer parents updates during the day?
  • What do you feed an infant? At 0-3 months? 3-6 months? 6-9 months? 9-12 months?
  • How do you set up the infant’s crib for a nap?
  • What kind of activities will you plan to engage my baby?

You should be prepared with your references for past nanny jobs, and ideally, past infant jobs. Prior to the infant nanny interview, be sure to think about questions that you might have for the family. This is a great time to ask questions about the responsibilities and compensation for the infant nanny position. To make sure everyone has a shared understanding of the role and responsibilities, we recommend asking for a job offer or a nanny contract. By doing this, you can get off on the right foot with your future employer.
