A little bit about us
Expectations would be educational play with the children, housekeeping, occasional errands, and driving kids to and from school. Helping with breakfast and lunch. We don’t want our children to watch TV and would prefer that they spend some time outside every day. Someone who seeks feedback, lives wholesome standards, and loves to have fun is crucial. We really need a nurturer and someone our kids really like. They’re the real decision makers!
I’d especially love someone with the capacity to help with some personal assistant things and if you’re available at random times for last minute kid watching it’d be perfect!
We will pay $7/hour for the first week of training, $10/hour for the second week, and $15/hour after. If things are going great then we can talk about pay raises after 3 months.
Because of naps and school we’re looking most of the time there will only be two kids at a time.

We are not LDS, but Our faith is very important to us and would love to have a nanny that has the same spiritual values.
If its a good fit - we would love a trip or two a year for you to come on if you'd like. But not necessary as we have grandparents that we fly in and out for.
Day to day - to make this position perfect - we'd love help with some light cooking/cleaning during work hours. Please message hours available, experience and start date !
Were looking for at least 12-6pm M-W or till Thursday as well.

We won’t sugar coat it - it’s a lot of work and not a job for the faint of heart! Our kids are energetic and on the go - some of them have some special needs, but we are willing and able to train you on specific ways of engaging with them.
We expect some light housekeeping and meal prep, keeping in mind that both parents will be around to help.
Thanks!

Their mother works from home but cannot tend to both of them and meet deadlines at the same time due to the age gap.
Theodore is very intelligent and needs a lot of stimulation. We are going to start working on potty training him.
The hours would be Monday through Friday 9 am to 2pm.
Responsibilities would be basic diaper changing, feeding the youngest and preparing lunch and breakfast for the older guy.
Their mom would also be helping as well, and so would I when I have a day off and happen to be there at those times.
Theodore likes to walk and go outside, so if you are active that is a plus.. Also if you are state certified that's a plus too.

How to Find an Infant Care Job in Lehi, UT
If you’re looking for an infant nanny job, you’ve come to the right place! We can help you find an infant care job in your area. Start by telling families about yourself in your profile, and then chat with families to find the right fit. When you think you’ve found the right match, you can turn the discussion towards compensation and responsibilities.
What is an Infant Nanny in Lehi, UT
An infant nanny is a nanny that specializes in caring for newborns. They are skilled in diapering and providing care for any rashes, swaddling, bathing, feeding, and burping. Some infant nannies further specialize in care for premature newborns or multiples.
Preparing for a Nanny Interview for an Infant Care Position
Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is an infant nanny job interview. Here is a list of some infant nanny interview questions to prepare for:
- What is your specific experience with this age group?
- Are you Infant CPR/First Aid certified in Lehi, UT? Are you willing to be trained?
- How do you handle a crying baby?
- How often do you usually offer parents updates during the day?
- What do you feed an infant? At 0-3 months? 3-6 months? 6-9 months? 9-12 months?
- How do you set up the infant’s crib for a nap?
- What kind of activities will you plan to engage my baby?
You should be prepared with your references for past nanny jobs, and ideally, past infant jobs. Prior to the infant nanny interview, be sure to think about questions that you might have for the family. This is a great time to ask questions about the responsibilities and compensation for the infant nanny position. To make sure everyone has a shared understanding of the role and responsibilities, we recommend asking for a job offer or a nanny contract. By doing this, you can get off on the right foot with your future employer.
