A little bit about us

Hi!

I will be needing some assistance with my two boys on Thursdays and Fridays as well as one day on the weekend. The time I need assistance will fluctuate between being about 6-8hrs a day.

Cal is 2 years old, high energy. Trying to get him interested in potty training. Loves dinosaurs and trucks.

Cam is 8months old - happy and army crawling all over the house. Trying to get him interested in food with BLW and purées.

Responsibilities - keeping one or both entertained, playing outside, going for walks. Helping me with holding boundaries, potty training, reading and generally getting energy out for them.

We have a bright and very talkative 2.5 yr old girl, and a super smiley 7 month old boy who is a great sleeper! They both still take naps :) We are looking for someone to come one day a week (tuesday, wednesday, or thursday) starting in the morning until mid afternoon, and then a date night for my husband and me. (we’re flexible on when for the date night and can alternate between a weekend and a weeknight!)

A little bit about us

Looking for a live in nanny, non-smoking, drivers license, room and board included. We have a 15 month old and will have a newborn come January. Hoping to find someone before May.

Responsibilities include caring for both children, preparing meals and cleanup, doing laundry and other light housekeeping tasks. Husband works out of the home full time, I work from home three days a week, but still need the help on those days, so the position is full time Monday-Friday. We also have a 2 year old golden retriever and a 10 year of tabby cat, both are friendly pets. You will not be expected to care for them, but they are around.

How to Find an Infant Care Job in Sandy, UT

If you’re looking for an infant nanny job, you’ve come to the right place! We can help you find an infant care job in your area. Start by telling families about yourself in your profile, and then chat with families to find the right fit. When you think you’ve found the right match, you can turn the discussion towards compensation and responsibilities.

What is an Infant Nanny in Sandy, UT

An infant nanny is a nanny that specializes in caring for newborns. They are skilled in diapering and providing care for any rashes, swaddling, bathing, feeding, and burping. Some infant nannies further specialize in care for premature newborns or multiples.

Preparing for a Nanny Interview for an Infant Care Position

Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is an infant nanny job interview. Here is a list of some infant nanny interview questions to prepare for:

  • What is your specific experience with this age group?
  • Are you Infant CPR/First Aid certified in Sandy, UT? Are you willing to be trained?
  • How do you handle a crying baby?
  • How often do you usually offer parents updates during the day?
  • What do you feed an infant? At 0-3 months? 3-6 months? 6-9 months? 9-12 months?
  • How do you set up the infant’s crib for a nap?
  • What kind of activities will you plan to engage my baby?

You should be prepared with your references for past nanny jobs, and ideally, past infant jobs. Prior to the infant nanny interview, be sure to think about questions that you might have for the family. This is a great time to ask questions about the responsibilities and compensation for the infant nanny position. To make sure everyone has a shared understanding of the role and responsibilities, we recommend asking for a job offer or a nanny contract. By doing this, you can get off on the right foot with your future employer.
